I really enjoyed this restaurant and the food. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because even with the spicy seasoning on the chicken tenders there wasn’t much flavor to the dish. Thankfully I added the salsa so that gave it some flavor. It was a green salsa and I love red, but it had great flavor to it. My husband got the protein scramble with goat cheese and a side of bacon. He really liked the scramble and the bacon was on point cook wise, in our opinion. It also had great flavor and is definitely good, quality bacon. The only other reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the way they have it setup for entering and exiting was kind of a mess and in the way of everything. I definitely plan on going back for the tacos and banana bread waffle. The older cashier lady was super awesome. Very friendly and customer service oriented. We got there around 1040 AM and wanted brussel sprouts. She said they don’t cook them until lunch at 11. So at 11 she came over and let us know we could now order them. I love that she remembered!! We loved them! The only complaint was add a little flavor and drain the grease more because they’re fried. I definitely recommend eating here!

Absolutely hands down best Chicken and Waffles in town. Do not waste your time elsewhere, this is the spot. I’ve been working and eating downtown for 9 years now. I also hardly ever review but I had to for this. Extremely delightful! Homemade from scratch and it shows. Just try it! I ate most of it before the photo…. Literally couldn’t stop eating it.

I’ve found gluten-free heaven! All the fried food at Bantam & Biddy is gluten-free. Yipeeee! I have celiac so I have to be very careful when we go out to eat. Not at Bantam & Biddy!

Five stars all day, every day. I’ve walked by hundreds of time and couldn’t figure out if it was a bar, fine dining, brunch or what. The answer is yes, it’s all of those. Oh my gosh, the greeting, the hospitality, the food. So much attention and care given to every dish. Oranges turn into orange juice to order, right before your eyes. Happy Hour is a great time to sample the menu. The chicken noodle soup may have been the best I’ve ever had. Oh, and if you happen to have any food allergy whatsoever, the kitchen manager will come out and discuss them with you. The GM sat at our table and chatted, then insisted that he make us an order of onion rings in that light, flaky, gluten-free batter. This is not something that you’re going to experience everywhere, as this is just one of three locations in the southeast. Ask for Patty and take every recommendation she gives. You’re welcome.

This was a winner! 10/10 would recommend. Has many great gluten free options including celiac’s protocol! Exquisite cheddar waffles with chicken tenders. The chicken tenders are very moist and flavorful and come in gluten free options as well. Chicken pot pie is TOP NOTCH! Try everything on the menu!!!
