Placed our first order at Tacos & Tequila today! Decided to do carry out for lunch. Just so happened to have a conversation with the owner during pickup which was cool. Very nice guy. Everyone at our table was happy with their order. I had shrimp enchiladas, which were great – really liked the sauce. Little side salad was nice. The refried beans and rice were great, I liked the potato chucks in it too. My wife had a chicken/rice bowl – the chicken had great flavor. My kiddo had the burger and said, “it’s really good” while proceeding to eat most of it. Chips and salsa were good too. I’m excited to try more things on the menu soon!

Sooo good! Hits the spot for all your Mexican cravings. I had the strawberry margarita and it was everything. Got the enchiladas suize and my husband got the chicken Californian burrito. Their hot sauces are amazing too. Can’t wait to come back.

Food was absolutely amazing the only complaint I would have was the cheese dip was nothing special the chips came out warm salsa had good flavor the entrees were generous for the amount paid. Our server was exceptional. I had their TNT house margarita thoroughly enjoyed it had a traditional on the rocks with salt. Will definitely be back.

Visited today. Was not offered water. No one came to take the order, I had to hunt someone and ask them to take order. Instead of serving the food I was given a to go. They just assumed I was there to order a to go. The food was ok but to their credit it was hot and fresh. One good thing is that they were ok with substitution to serve other non veg dishes as veg options. The total experience was not great, I might consider other places in this area.

Took the family here for the first time last night! GREAT service from waiter CJ! it’s a little pricey but good food and lovely atmosphere! We will be coming back. Also my kiddo’s cheeseburger and fries – surprising really good!

I have been twice. The Marquita was perfect both times. I’ve only had the house but like it because it was not too sweet. Tonight I had the cantina bowl with steak and it was so delicious. An explosion of flavor. My husband had the trio enchiladas and they were yummy and delightfully plated. The food is also a good value. Make sure to go hungry as the portions are ample and the taste so good it’s hard to stop eating!

First time at Tacos and Tequila Restaurant in Overland Park. What a nice surprise. A lot of new menu items and a great experience. Gabriella was so helpful, explaining the menu and choices. We had the Molcajete Ranchero and the Tacos Al Pastor with street corn. Both were delicious and full of unique flavors. She said “if you have had these before and they were not memorable, try ours”, so we did. She was right, these were memorable. We had the food, a margarita and two beers and there was plenty for the three of us. All for under $60 before tip.
