Stopped to get gas and saw the reviews for this place. Awesome food and right off of route 70. Friendly staff and an outside patio where I ate with my dog. I’ll be stopping here more often. I had the steak fajitas. Delicious! Dog aporoved.

A must STOP @ Cancun mexican restaurant next to Love’s. Park truck across street & a short walk. Steak fajita chimi is EXCELLENT! Double beans no rice. Guacamole, house red salsa & salsa verde are off the chart delicious. In my top 3 Mexican restaurants coast to coast! Great service & reasonably priced!

I travel all over the USA, and I was on Interstate 70 in Kansas. I stopped by at ELLIS restaurant to eat some Mexican cuisine. I ordered the Cancun special and loved the food. The ambient in this restaurant is AMAZING! As soon as you step in, you literally enter a different nation. You feel as if you are in Cancun, Mexico. The place feels like a vacation. I recommend this red to all that are looking for hood Mexican food. Trust me it’s a Vibe inside.

This food is delicious . Best chips and salsa I’ve ever had. The chips were freshly made with a interesting combination of fluffy and crunchy. I had the chorizo Pollo so good white queso on it. You can’t go wrong!!!!!

Just a trucker passing through. Finding good food near somewhere to park a truck is not always easy, so I had to go give it a try and I will be back next time I come through. Great food and a big menu to choose from!

Got seated immediately in the window which became a problem. The MANY flies in there liked my booth. I finally threw my napkin over my food and 20 minutes later I finally got the waiter’s attention. Way under staffed and you basically have to hit the waiter with a rock to get his attention. I ended up taking what food that the flies didn’t land on out of there with me. Great food just poor management.

I’m an African American truck driver saw that the reviews was great thought I would take me wife here for dinner and we felt unwelcome..We entered ask for menu and the white lady gave us the menu walked off not welcoming us demonstrating basic customer service skills of course we been to many restaurants but immediately my wife like she didn’t want to eat here but they had a bar and I wanted a drink and the bartender service was horrible and I been a bartender and his level of service sucked we waited awhile before we got served and he as if he didn’t want to serve us but at the end of the day I didn’t tip and wrote on the receipt I didn’t tip because of the service and said I didn’t think they don’t like blk ppl so if you a black truck driver enter at your own risk I hope my expression on my experience matters and others after our experience have improved
