The food was so delicious. This is the best Mexican food I have ever had. I lived in florida and have Mexican food at some local restaurants that was okay. They wouldn’t be able to top this place, though.

My husband and I ate here tonight and we are thinking they must have changed owners. The food was just okay. However the chips salsa was amazing. The service wasn’t that good and we felt rushed. We spent a total of 52.00 and it wasn’t worth it. Not going to go to this location for a while. We had a to go order and we used to get chips and salsa. Not anymore. Didn’t even get a thank you.

We really enjoy El Portal. Beef fajitas are our favorite, always tender and perfectly seasoned. I like the tostada. As transplants from Texas, it’s been a challenge to find “that” place, the one that’s comfortable and consistent and you just look forward to. This is it for us.
