The food was the best! Hands down. Tortillas taste just like mom makes! Delicious! First timer and definitely a returning customer! It’s a little hole in the wall but it’s the best! Service was great and the place is real nice!

Holy moly! Well, MOLE, chicken mole, that is, today’s special. I ordered it, and I was not disappointed. The whole plate, beans, rice, the tea, everything was so good. I was especially impressed with the welcoming family friendliness of the staff. Looking at the tables around me, I’m surely coming back to try other menu items.

First time coming here and OMG!!!! LOVE IT !!! We decided to walk over from Kia Ancira while we get our car serviced and I do not regret it well worth the 13min walk. I ordered the costillas with corn tortillas DELICIOUS !!! Will definitely be returning.

Amiga Cafe has delicious food. We enjoyed the food so much that went back for a second time. The food is authentic and inexpensive. The original margarita was one of the best margaritas we have ever tried. The vibes are also amazing especially the Karaoke night on Saturday. This place is a must in San Antonio.

This place is all right. My food was very greasy. Even worse than that, they wouldn’t sell me alcohol until 10am. I worked a night shift and wanted a beer at 8am. On Saturday that’s allowed.

I tried this nice little place tucked away in a shopping center. The food was good and the service was great. The Caldo de Res had good flavor but it needed some cabbage (like the picture shows). The Chilaquiles divorciados were ok, just a little salty on the red side. The Fideo Loco had good flavor. The big plus is the homemade tortillas.

Very friendly, great service, food was wonderful and the owners were very polite, professional and happy that we were there. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Tortillas are the best I’ve had in years?

The food here is fantastic. The quality of the food is to notch. They use fresh ingredients and serve it with a smile. San Antonio is known for their great mexican and Tex Mex food and this little gem is at the top of the list. The restaurant itself is airy, you don’t feel claustrophobic. There is ample parking, but if you park in the front of the restaurant, be sure to pay attention to the assigned spaces for the other businesses there in the strip. I highly recommend you visit and just so you know, breakfast is served all day and the menu is very affordable.

Stopped in on a whim and so glad we did! We loved the food! So different from normal Tex Mex so don’t go in there expecting the usual we typically get from Mexican restaurants. My photo is their enchiladas mexicanas….. So good! We will definitely be visiting again and again!
