We went there for breakfast as a family on a Sunday. The place was packed and we were asked if we had reservations. There were no available tables inside so we were given a warm booth outside. It was really cozy. The server was very nice. She was prompt and took our order quickly and accurately. The food was very good. We really enjoyed it. The coffee was terrific! Overall, it was a bit pricey but we enjoyed it.

Hawthorne’s was a great experience! My colleagues and I went there to meet for lunch. The restaurant provided amazing customer service, there was high energy in the atmosphere, and the food came out fast and good despite them being a bit crowded. I ordered the burger with tots, it was delicious. I’m not even a burger guy, but something compelled me to get the burger (a colleague said the burgers were ). They have a solid menu, they have a bit to choose from!

The short rib pasta was incredible! Service was fast and prices were reasonable too. Only downside is that many of the outside tables are right on the bike path, so we had bikes racing by within a few inches of the table.

Our server was a doll! Friendly and fast service, tasty food on a Sunday, reasonable pricing, indoor n outdoor seating, what more could you ask for! I had the eggplant sandwich, very tasty but it seemed like it was missing just a little something..maybe a sauce of sorts.. the salmon I sampled was really good as well 🙂

If you like eggplant, you HAVE to try their sandwich – it’s huge, not greasy, and delicious. I haven’t found any other eggplant that I like nearly as much. The crunchy and crispy coating isn’t soggy or greasy. It comes with a side of chips. My boyfriend got the Potato Mess. He added avocado, but was only given a few slices, which didn’t seem worth the extra cost (+$3). We’d skip that next time. But overall we really enjoyed our lunch.
