Of all the Hawaiian BBQ locations in this region (and there are a lot of them), this one of my favorites. The food is good hear. It’s not as noisy (some locations could use some sound proofing). There is adequate seating. Not much else you can ask for in a franchise. It’s next door to East L.A. College and close to the 60 Freeway (great for those just passing through).

On the Katsu Chicken Mini Meal they only give One Katsu Sauce, not even Two!!! They pile on the cheapest ingredient which is the cabbage. Only one tiny piece of broccoli a tiny scoop of rice and a scoop of Macaroni Salad. NO Soy Sauce!! This was from UberEats!!! Not very good in my opinion. UberEats doesn’t have the Special Instructions option anymore! That really sucks also!!!

Love the food. I always get the chicken plate that comes with rice and macaroni. The macaroni is really good too. The amount of food is good, enough for two people…though you’d have to get some extra macaroni if you share. Staff is friendly and the place is clean and nice.

This place no good. Plate tastes like Hispanic version of Ono. Has no Hawaiian love. Just generic plate of overcooked chicken. I look forward to their steamed cabbage. So I always ask for extra cabbage. This cabbage is chopped up by inexperienced cooks and served raw. Chicken is over cooked. I got chicken skin in my bbq chicken plate. Never been served skin on a ono plate before. I don’t know what to think?? I asked her if her menu has mini plates and she said yes. When I open it it’s a full size plate. Shocked me. I don’t think she knows other locations have mini plates. She just sold me the reg plate. A no go.
