The Lieu family migrated from Asia to the United States almost 50 years ago and have owned and operated Full Service restaurants in Seattle, Atlanta, Athens and Greenville. The Patriarch of the Lieu family has handed down his tried and proven recipes to his eldest sons, David and Peter. Together, they worked side by side with their father to make their restaurants the success they are today. Their new concept, CHPSTX Asian Eatery, a fast casual restaurant, is a collaboration of their ideas and experiences over the past 50 years.

Food was decent. Came out pretty quick. Had the garlic noodles with chicken. Was very heavy on the oil/butter, not sure what was used but it was a lot. Tasted decent tho. Price wasn’t bad for the lunch, you get enough to fill you up, and comes with a side, which I got the wonton soup. I wasn’t a fan, because it didn’t really have a lot of flavor, almost like a watered down soup. The fried pork dumpling was good, but pretty pricey. Over $1 for one, they even have some different kinds but those are over $2. Overall an ok place to eat for fast food. 3.5-4 stars

We’ve been here several times in the last month and it is AMAZING! The pricing is a bit more than your average local Asian eatery, but the servings are massive, so I’d say it all evens out. Warning to the wise: be conservative when you add spice to your dish. I LOVE spice and ordered a spice level two and it was fire . Also we ordered the Sichuan Pork Wonton and wasn’t what we were used to from other Asian restaurants. The egg rolls, spring rolls and Crab Wonton were excellent. The crab wontons were the most full wontons I’ve ever had! I’m excited to try other dishes moving forward. I ordered the sesame chicken without spice yesterday and it was sooooo good!

My husband and I wanted to try this place out so we ordered take out on a Friday night a few weeks ago. My husband ordered the General Tso’s chicken and I got the shrimp fried rice. We also ordered some spring rolls as well.

My husband and I decided to try some take out. We’ve been excited for a GOOD Asian restaurant. When I was ordering, asked if I could get fried rice. The cashier explained that with an entree, the choices were white rice, brown rice etc., if I wanted fried rice that is separate and $6.00 on top of entree. I was already aware of higher prices, so opted for brown rice. Got home and my husband (former chef) had his Garlic Chicken noodles and there were not any vegetables. Green onion, chicken & noodles. He was disappointed, left a review. The restaurant replied rudely and condescending…we weren’t interested in fast food as they responded to my husband’s review.

Great food with good size portions at a good price. Fast friendly and helpful service. They helped us with moving tables for our group, noticed when we needed more napkins, and brought containers to take food home without us asking. Will definitely come back!

Must try!! I had the Kung Pao Chicken for take out, today. It was delicious! Best Kung Pao I’ve had in years! I ordered level 2 for the spice, perfect amount of heat and flavor. It was served in a large bowl over a bed of brown rice, (you have a choice of brown or white rice). My wife had the vegetarian Buddha’s Feast. She said it was the best ever. Online ordering was easy. It was ready in less than 15 min. We will be back soon!

This food is incredible! We were very impressed with the quality, service and atmosphere. You can tell the owners love what they do and will be happy to adjust the spice or flavors to your liking. Although the service was fast and efficient, this food is not “fast food” quality. We will be returning for our next Asian meal! Thank-You!!
