I was a bit worried based on some of the reviews, but honestly had a wonderful experience here. I was the only one in the restaurant and the waiters were very attentive and helpful, spoke great english, helped me pick out a second dish, choose one of the many options for naan, and delicious rice pudding. I got the chicken tikka masala and lamb korma, everything i tasted seemed fresh and generally as I hoped.

Usually not a huge take out delivery person, but I recently ordered from here, and I must say, their Chicken Tikka and Samosa Chaat were outstanding! The Chicken Tikka was perfectly spiced, tender, and charred to perfection. The Samosa Chaat had a delightful blend of flavors with crispy samosas topped with tangy chutneys and yogurt. I would definitely order again!

I haven’t eaten at the restaurant, but have ordered pick up and delivery plenty of times. This is by far THE best Indian food in park slope….period. I’ve tried them all, and the quality of all their grilled/tandoor items are awesome, and their gravy items are also fantastic.

I have eaten at this restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as purchased take out. It is intimate and one waits a little for the food as it is prepared fresh when ordered and delicious. Usually one waiter for a small dine in area but always pleasant. The prices are fair and the food is excellent.

I didn’t know what to expect. Went on a friends suggestion after they decided to skip the Chinese spot across the street and opted for something outside the box that we don’t usually look to eat. I like that their menu is digital (old gen iPad minis) but their menu don’t explain much so with the help of google I decided on the lamb saag which is curry lamb in a puréed spinach sauce seasoned to perfection. You also get a choice of bread like naan or roti. I can’t recall the name but my friend had the chicken in a red sauce with peppers, onions and green chilis. I sampled some and it had the right amount kick to it. Somewhat more spice than what I had. Think one chili pepper. Mine I would say was like half a chili on spice. Both dishes came with white rice in addition to the bread. The portions is nice enough to split/share so you and your guest can try two dishes like we did. The food was very filling and tasty. You don’t get that nasty full feeling fast food gives. I would definitely go again. Our server was a very nice gentleman, he gave suggestions and also let us know if something we were considering would take more than 15 min to cook since certain items for a dish were made fresh. If you ever want to stop in please do. The orange yogurt drink (idk the name) was amazing! And they offer sweets at the end of the meal (think tiny nerds in a dish) which was cute. Please try as much as you can here! I would definitely go back. The place was also nice and clean even in the bathrooms and I liked there was outdoor seating in the back.

The food was terribly mediocre. We ordered lamb vindaloo and tandoori chicken. The vindaloo tasted like a glorified tomato sauce. It was spicy, but otherwise bland. The same is true for the tandoori chicken. The portion was small and bland. We won’t be ordering from Tikka again.

Local Indian restaurant with numerous locations. We tried a variety of things but my favorite is the shrimp Tikka masala and paratha bread.

I ordered a saag paneer and chicken tikka masala which I was really excited about. But midway through eating, I crunched into something with a foul flavor. I spit it out and to my horror I saw a small cockroach. I was so sickened by the sight and taste. I threw everything away immediately. I called the restaurant to report what I had found and was told that the owner would give me a call that day but I never received a call. It’s been a few days now. I wouldn’t have written this review had she called me and tried to make it right, but I also want to make sure that other customers beware.

Food was tasty but we got a bad stomach for the entire day. It’s not my first time eating indian that never happened to me. And it happened to 2 of us. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to get sick.

We had ordered takeout from here. We got chicken biryani and black pepper chicken curry. The biryani was very flavorful, so was the curry. Good quantity and great taste. Curry came with a side of white rice. Accompanied by green and tamarind chutney and pickled onions. Chicken was tender and tasty. Will be back for more!
