I was told about this place from a friend of mine. I was craving pupusas and this place definitely has it. It’s in the name. The food was amazing. The beans and rice were so flavorful. The pupusas are delicious. I got both the pork, cheese and spinach and just cheese and spinach. I also ordered some fried plantains and that was a great addition for dessert. I recommend this place if you ever crave Salvadorian food.

I was excited to try this local looking shop. But.. menu price and actual price was more. Took almost an hour to receive order. Then once home there was a small curly hair on our fries. Husband lost appetite. $70 bucks not worth it. And now we know.

As a parent, your kids are the ultimate critics when it comes to food. Sometimes it’s too hot, sometimes too cold, and sometimes they don’t like it and they can’t tell you why. Even things they liked the first time they don’t like the second time. Our 3 year old said to me once, “No daddy. Even though I liked broccoli last time I don’t like it this time even though it’s cooked in butter with bacon and then cheese poured over the top.” I’m translating liberally of course because what he actually said was “yuck” and then threw it across the room. So when they ate and liked the pupusas we bought here I felt more relief than when my cray cray ex finally went to prison. We bought cheese, chicken, and steak and the chicken was the best by a mile. The surprise of the meal was when our 3 year old tried the salsa and said, “Can I drink that?” My wife and I shared a look of surprise complete with raised eyebrows and then we both tried it. He was right. It tasted like the color blue in a world of mediocre grays. He drank it before we had much of a chance to use it on the pupusas but that just means we’ll have to go here again even if it’s just for the salsa.

Today my family and i went through the drive thru. We placed our order and got asked to wait in the front for our food we waited about 18mins I was a bit frustrated but the food was hot and fresh the staff was very busy so it’s understandable.

The pupusas were okay, but definitely not worth the price. $5 for a small pupusa with 2 pieces of meat? Yeah, no. Took 30+ minutes for me get 2 pupusas.

Tried this little gem today and I was pleased.I ordered the 2 papussas plate which came with slaw ,sauce and rice and beans. My papussas were chicharon y cheese. Decent portions with awesome flavors. The place was clean the staff was friendly and I will be going back again to try something else.

Asada burrito was really good not all greasy like other places. Rice was really good too. Got a chicken and potato pupusa too that was also great and I like how they have a drive thru.
