My family and I love the food here! When I have visitors from out of town we always come to kimono for dinner at least once during their visit. Their food is to die for! The prices are not bad at all compared to other hibachi style restaurants! There are only two things that I am not completely pleased with and one is the cleanliness of things sometimes, these are not health hazard type things though! And, also the second is in the woman’s bathroom I have scolded my hands washing them on 3 different occasions! My children’s godmother visiting from out of town scolded her hands as well! This will not happen to either of us again. AFTER this last time, I do not think that I will forget again…(Although, you would think that I wouldn’t have forgotten after the first time! Yes, I am an idiot!!!) The service is great and the food is amazing and there is never a wait! The waitresses and staff work with you if you would like things changed or done specifically, they have no problem with helping out or substituting things for your experience to be a bit better… HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. (I’ve eaten here probably 15+ times)

We had a large party and got our meals in (I would say) a decent time. The food was good and got a lot of food for the price. (Had leftovers to take home) I would imagine people coming off the interstate, seeing the place, either turning around in parking lot and going else where, or walking in and being turned off by the “ambiance”… But it really is good food. Dont expect fast service… It is made to order…

I’ve gone to this place for years, I think 10. I love the sushi and desserts. I mostly get it to go because I have small children but I have ate inside. It’s always been wonderful. I’m craving the clear soup, I plan on buying some for after my daughters tonsillectomy. I definitely recommend trying it out.

Best Asian food in Pulaski County. Nice environment to enjoy a meal with pleasant staff. Never crowded. Lowest price for a complete meal is around $10.00 and goes up from there, although their lunch specials (until 3pm?) are a bit cheaper. Wide variety with American sides for little ones.

The food is amazing! Prices are a bit high, and the waitress I had was very flirty with my husband and didn’t do a good job of refills. The decor is nice but it’s a bit to dim in there.

Food was just okay. I was surprised to be asked if I wanted fries with my meal. What kind of Japanese restaurant sells french fries with a plate of Japanese food? The decor is old and worn and the entire place desperately needs a make over. There are much better Japanese restaurants in Christiansburg. My advice is drive the extra mile and go to a better place than this.

I only give this place 2 stars ! Reason is very over priced for what little you get ! Service is very poor ! Never came back to refill drinks just dropped bill at table after first serving of food. Never asked was everything good or if we needed anything heafty price for just some chicken nothing fancy 50 bucks for 3 to eat no thank you ! I will use my money a little more wisely at a restaurant who cares if your satisfied or not !

Idefinitely was not impressed. The fried rice was very bland and stale. I didn’t even eat my entre. I will say I like the little pop of wasabi in the spring roll. . My granddaughter found a roach in the bathroom. So, yeah, never going back there!

Gave star because the water was palatable. Bad service. Sticky table and chairs. Food made me analy insecure. Had 380 miles to travel had to stop every 30 miles to crap made it a long burning trip. I would only stop in again if I were extremely constipated and needed a good laxative.
