Tasty dinner. Sat outside on a gorgeous Sunday evening. Not quite clear via Google Maps, and if you’re just visiting for dinner like we were, not quite clear on where it’s located on the property. Service was slow, but I think the server was overbooked with the outdoor tables. Food and drinks (red and white sangrias) were very good.

Waiter must have mentioned everything on menu and boasted for several minutes about his past on his knowledge of wine. Took about 10-15 minutes before we could get in our drink orders. Another 10 to get drinks and over an hour to get our food. Way to long.

I called early in the week to make reservations. They don’t take any, but they assured me they could serve 9 on Sunday. Family came from out of town for wife’s birthday. I arrived early to ensure things. Waited 5 minutes for hostess who came from down the hall someplace I did stare at 2 waiters or bartenders who were studiously ignoring a guy standing at entrance. I was told outside was closed today. Inside only small tables. We could be seated at 3 separate tables, they would not put a few 4 tops together. Awful disappointment Poor service.

I was looking for a grand experience and I was not disappointed! My daughter is having her 16th birthday, and I just had my 40th, so we wanted somewhere special to go out for lunch. When we told our waitress that we both had birthdays, after our meal, she brought out a complimentary dessert (she said the slice of Tiramisu got broken, hence the free piece) with two candles We thoroughly enjoyed both our food and the atmosphere. Will come again.

Food was honestly horrible and amazingly overpriced. Portions were small, quality of ingredients was lacking, Reuben had hardly any dressing or sauerkraut. I got a steak sandwich which was highlighted as a top choice for $22. Barely any sauce, meat was flavorless and fatty. A $22 sandwich should come with fries but the fry up charge was nearly $4. Service was ok but slow. I honestly can’t believe anyone could say anything positive about this food. Our group had a cocktail which was tasty and the only positive thing I could say.

We visited early on a recent Friday and sat at the bar with a nice view of the lake. The staff behind the bar was friendly. Nice looking menu. We tried a few things. The steak salad came out and looked great. Unfortunately the steak was probably the most overcooked piece of meat I have ever tried, beyond well done. I tried a couple pieces. I should have sent it back instead I left it all on the plate. Someone next to us had the same salad. She said a couple pieces were edible but pushed the rest to the side as well. Seafood chowder was good as was there specia, coconut shrimp. Nice pours on the wine.
