This is definitely worth the treck out. Hidden in a little nook off the highway is this wonderful bar and restaurant. They have several food options on their menu and are willing to make substitutions. The food did take a while to get to us, but it was worth the wait because it was delicious. It is located right next to Café Aroma inside the Community Gardens. They have Karaoke, and if that doesn’t suit your fancy, they have live concerts that happen out back on some nights. I go to watch football on Sundays. All the games are on. For a Bill’s fan in Bastrop, that’s huge. Exceptional pub menu with down home, friendly service and a sports bar atmosphere that can’t be beat and family friendly too. Bring your friends. Fans or not everyone will enjoy themselves.

My experience at Heroes was a good experience. I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile by one of the serves on shift. I had my drink less than 5 minutes of sitting down with a menu. I had ordered the fried pickles with ranch. The pickles were fresh and very hot to the touch. I can’t say more about the other food since I have had not tried any of it. I do know if you want good service with a smile then i would recommend coming. They have a beautiful outside back garden where you can see all the plants and feel peaceful when you have your drink. Would I come here again? Yes, there is a kid friendly area in the back where the kids can play and socialize while adults take in the fresh air

We had a horrible experience and service here while traveling from Austin to Houston. I ordered 6 wings yall . My husband ordered a burger. They came to our table 40 min later and delivered his burger and told me my “6” wings would be out in 5 more minutes. My food never came. And after 1 hour, they told me they were out of wings. How did it take 1 hour for them to realize they didn’t have wings? After lying about them being “ready” in 5 min. Server had us order and pay for the meal before hand on the app..they said they’d refund me for the food I never received, they never refunded. Service and management was terrible. Do not eat here.

Atmosphere is there. Although Wildcard night they were awful. This was 10 bucks and my party ordered wings. Some got theirs cold some didnt get theirs at all. Place has so much potential but it seems like some nights are good and some nights are like this.

We gave this place a 2nd try because we wanted to support a local place with an amazing concept and atmosphere. Sadly, the bar and food customer experience was not good again. You have a great property that is much needed in Bastrop. Just need some focus on the bar and grill.

Only had sweet potato fries but they were great. Paired well with a draft Austin Eastcider. Bonus is you get to poke around stores and plants after. Really cool place.

Took 45 minutes for a BLT at the bar and it’s cold. There’s 13 fries. I might be exaggerating maybe 10. They are really cold. Gross.
