There is just. no. comparison. Easily my favorite ramen joint on the peninsula. The ramen menu is just right in variety, price, and uniqueness. I think they must make their own kimchi because there’s no store-bought kimchi this good. On a final note, jazz and ramen?! Who would have thought, but what a memorable combo.

This is my favorite ramen spot in San Mateo. The ramen is so tasty and additionally they have other foods/appetizers you can order. Tonkotsu is my go to 🙂

I really want to like this place. It has really cute decor and good reviews. The service is very good, we were seated promptly and they came to grab our order pretty fast too. They have a huge variety of ramen to choose from.

Wish I could like this place, but the food was really disappointing. The vibe was nice, but the ramen was not good at all.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always loved the food and relaxing, jazzy atmosphere. The service is consistently pleasant and friendly. They have vegetarian broth options and a great salmon fried rice for those who don’t feel like ramen. If you’re looking for a casual, welcoming experience this is the place!

Came here on a whim. Their tan tan noodles is simply delicious! I cannot eat too spicy and the soup was tolerable spicy and packed with flavor. It was so much tastier than the tonkotsu that we also ordered so we ended up relocating the noodles from the tonkotsu bowl to the ten ten bowl. I love the interior design and the jazz music….it definitely gives me Murakami vibes (IYKYK).

San Mateo has a lot of Ramen restaurants, and this is one of the highly rated ones. I would say their broth is saltier and not as creamy as others. They give you a good amount of pork belly, so you’ll walk out full. Ramen Dojo is still the best in terms of noodles and broth quality, but the portion is smaller.

This place has a steady flow of customers but they do their best to seat you ASAP. We didn’t wait more than 2 min to get seated on a Saturday afternoon.
