I love everything about their food! I wouldn’t consider them a dine-in place and always order carry out, but it’s always delicious! I’ve order the lamb, beef, chicken; all of them have been good. The hummus is also really good and I absolutely love their crushed lentil soup.

The food is good but they continuously under estimate the wait time. It happens almost every time we order. Tonight, I was told 45 minutes. I got there after 50 minutes and waited an extra 30 minutes. You can’t lie to your customers like this…EVERY TIME! Please respect your customer’s time!

This is the best shawarma sandwich I have ever tasted and it’s so consistent. Friendly, low-key staff. Price is right. Outdoor seating is even quite nice off woodward. Truly a top gem in Metro Detroit! If you’re hungry.. go for the chicken ghallaba sandwich

We stopped in the day before our Grad party to see if they could make the food for it. No problem. Omar was great and helped us decide what to order. Super easy. It was for 20 people and the amount of food was plentiful. Everyone absolutely loved it. It was fantastic! Highly recommend Shish Kabob Xpress!!

Excellent no frills take-out sandwiches, perhaps the best I have had in the US between DC, NYC, Boston and now the Midwest. The meat is so well marinated and grilled to perfection and the prices are very reasonable as well. Their shish tawook sandwich is especially nice!

We ordered online through EatStreet and waited over 2 hours for our delivery. Our smoothies were wrong, but the quality of the food was good. I love eating here, just this one time service was not good at all. Please be aware of delivery, we will order for pick up in the future..

My wife and I stopped by here today. We’ve been here many times. We always sit outside after ordering. The food is excellent!! Fresh as it gets too! Made to order. The chicken is cooked perfect every time. I get the beef kafta about half the time, it’s also one of my favorites. My wife usually gets a salad and falafel. The falafel is hands down the best in metro Detroit, bar none!!! It’s always made to order and not pre-made “rocks” like so many other places. If you love fresh falafel, definitely give this place a try. No one in the area can even come close to this place food wise. I give it my highest recommendation!!

Best chicken/fattoush salad, hummus and falafel around. Heaps of chicken breast on salad every time I order. I’ve had same items from every restaurant from Bloomfield Hills to Ferndale and Shish Kabob Xpress is my new go to. I get via DoorDash so I cannot speak to dining-in experience.
