Land Ocean is a modern steakhouse restaurant with a swanky vibe. The restaurant offers a variety of surf and turf dishes including blackened salmon, filet mignon, BBQ Burger, chicken Caprese salad and more. Land Ocean plans to completely remodel both the exterior and interior of the previous sports grill bringing a modern and industrial/fire steakhouse feel. Coming fall 2021!

Came here for father’s day with dad, my husband and 2 sisters and we had a good time. The food was good and i liked the fitness special! Dessert was okay, i thought the lava cake was a bit crummy and could have been more cake like. The fries and cheesy bread were SO great that i couldn’t get enough!!! The waiter was very accommodating… even with my sister who kept asking for maraschino cherries lol!

The food is awesome, and it’s great that they have a menu with a wide price range so that if someone in your party wants to go all out, the rest of you do not. I’ve had the noodle salad a couple times, the first time was amazing and the second was just okay. Desserts are always fantastic.

We went to Land Ocean for my hubby’s birthday. The restaurant has been open for about a week. The food was yummy. Our waitress was very good almost to good. My hubby hardly put his glass on the table and it taken away. I’m not sure if he was done or not. We ask to keep our wines glasses. We advised we would have wine later. Two minutes later another came up and took the glasses away. We started laughing. The waitress came with wine. I said, another waiter took them. She said oh no, lol and got more glasses. The food was excellent, the drinks weren’t. My drink was $10.00 and tasted as if there wasn’t any alcohol. I watch her make drinks. It looked like she was reading out of a book and i noticed she was sticking her fingers in the drinks and yes, it grossed me out. Most bars have little toothpicks or something to keep fingers out of the drinks. Also, it looked like a bar manager or something watching every move she made. He just stood there with his arms behind his back.

Everything was great and it’s not an overly busy place which is nice. Portions of the sides could be a tad bit larger for the price point. However I’m a guy with a good sized appetite. Birthday dessert was a nice touch.

Food came out fast and tasted stellar—we had got the Land Ocean which had the filet mignon and lobster tail (absolute YUM), and then the Surf and Turf which was also great but a very small dish compared to the other. The appetizers we had started with were the spicy crab cakes (our favorite), the tenderloin wellingtons, and then the jalapeño Mac and cheese! All were tasty! The service and ambience of the restaurant was very nice and I would definitely go back again.

As I walked in I immediately felt like I was on a cruise ship. For those of you who cruise you’ll know what I mean. Atmosphere was different, unique. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated right away. Our server – initially – was great. As dinner went on the service suffered greatly. Appetizer: Tenderloin Wellington in puff pastry was not what I was expecting. Will not order that again. Sea Bass was rich and too sweet for a savory dish. The Fitness Chef’s Choice of halibut and veggies was not overly flavorful. The Tenderloin Stir Fry was tasty. The first time it came out, the plate was warmer than my meal. They brought another one out with a more appropriate temperature. We decided to try the “Banana Cream Pie” – it was more on the deconstructed side, room temperature and again, different. It was basically Oreo crumbs for the base, sliced banana and some cream in the center. All in all I’m glad we tried it. We may try it again because I believe in giving a restaurant more than one chance.

I paid about $40 for two plates full of lettuce about 4 ounces of chicken and 2 ounces of ahi. No flavor in the fish and chicken was over cooked. Sorry but never again.
