This seems to be a hidden gem in the KC area. The food is super. The chips are also very good, fresh and not oversalted. The pico and salsa bar is always fresh and wonderful. Certainly Top 3 Mexican restaurants in the area, in my opinion.

A family run Mexican spot with its own Salsa bar, sign me up! I understand Mexican cuisine is in almost every corner of our Metroplex but some spots that are 1 of 1 tend to stand out like this place does. A very vibrant interior couples with the vast menu of unique dishes they put out. Topped with a great staff and killer looking Margaritas this place has it going. I came in for the Barbacoa Tacos w/ excellent consome plus the great Salsa Bar made for a good experience. Time for round 2

So we went in and tried out three of our favorites from our travels. The aguachille, very good. Did not come with the usual totopos or fried tortillas but was good. At $15 it was reasonable. The tostada de pulpo,,, basically octopus civiche. $6 was very overpriced considering the amount of actual fish on it. It tasted very flat and bland. Two bites into it discovered it had cream which might be okay for some people but I’m not a fan. They really need to put some flavor in it. And finally the grilled snapper. The plate was $22. The seasoning on the fish was good. The fish itself was very overcooked and the portion was very tiny. Think deck of cards. The sites that came with it were French fries salad and rice. The salad was plain and was a salad, the french fries were kind of old and very soft and unsalted. The rice itself had good flavor but it seemed like they used too much water and so the texter was very mushy and undesirable. I feel like this might have been a $15 plate as opposed to $22 plate considering the amount of actual fish involved. Think casino deck the cards when I talk about how tiny it was. The service of the restaurant was typical for your Americanized Mexican restaurant. And the decor was really nice. I would go to this restaurant but I would stick to the typical Mexican-American food instead of trying to go the traditional route. Definitely overpriced when it comes to the fish side of things. I will try it again to sample the burritos and enchiladas and the usual fare at a Mexican restaurant to see if maybe the price point would line up a little bit better. I really wanted to like this place and give it five stars when I saw the menu.

This was our first time here and the food was excellent. I got a burrito that I swear was a foot long. It was huge! The chips were average but I still ate a ton of them. The food came out quick and the price was moderate. I got a Dos Equis on tap and it was cold and frosty.

This was a great meeting place for the crew. We discussed our business plans while we ate a late lunch. The service was great and the food was on par with well known restaurants that aren’t a part of a chain.

It was very delicious and our first time eating here. It was not busy at all. Usually I get the enchiladas but I decided to try out the carnitas. I was not disappointed. It was good and the meat was nice, soft and tender.

I have not had a dish there I didn’t like. From the pollio picoso to the ACP Mazatlan. The esquite is very good, as is the charro beans. The device is great. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. They keep on top of your drinks. The wait time has been very good from order to delivery. I think it took around 5 minutes. It cutoff have been a bit longer but it doesn’t feel like it’s a long time. The place isn’t crowded so you don’t have to worry about bumping into anyone when you go to take a bite. Overall I give this place 5 stars for service, timeliness, quality, options, cleanliness, and food taste. I highly recommend it.

The restaurant was about 90% full and I arrived 5/8/2022 around 5:15 PM. They seated us immediately. The service was great and the waiter was prompt with everything. The vibe was calm and family oriented. The meals arrived timely and they were hot with good presentation. The food was excellent and I enjoyed every bite.
