Nice restaurant with comfort food. The shrimp n fries was amazingly good. They fry in lard, so it has to be good. Prices are reasonable. Restaurant is remodeled and clean looking, plus cold AC!

At first, I thought this place selling ice cream. but when we entered, it’s restaurant and bar. love the frose and shrimp. Shrimp was really really good. It’s a real deal. i think is southern style. service was great also. recommend to try.

The service was great with our meals arriving promptly. The shrimp, grits and beans were excellent. The chicken and mac’ncheese were a little dry but we arrived around 45 minutes before closing. We will definitely return.

The food is alright but definitely not for the price, I spent $40 for a salad, an app and fries with one drink, also they add automatic gratuity which is 20% to every order and they took great items off the menu and replaced them with not so great substitutes.

Went here a few years ago and it was decent. Few of us got the 2 white piece dinner. Mac and cheese is good, apple butter is good. The pieces of chicken is not big or juicy. At first I thought they got my order wrong because the breast was as big as a small thigh but then realized it was a breast. If it was really good I would have been fine with it but all of are chicken pieces were kind of dry. It makes sense why they offer a side of sauce, to add flavor to the chicken and cover up the dryness. It made it better but I didn’t go and get fried chicken either to dig in sauce. The green beans could have had some seasoning, just plain steamed green beans. Anyways, if you want fried chicken that’s juicy, tasty and big then not here. Maybe try the smash burger.

We have ate here several times but tonight the chicken was the best it has ever been. The deviled eggs were great as well. The waitress was running her but off but still managed to keep up with things. The Mac n cheese was good but could have been a little hotter. The mashed potatoes was a little bland for my liking.

The Smokehouse Burger was amazing! Big patty, crisp apples, the flavors all blended together so good. The beer selection is always good. The service is always with a smile and this afternoon they even had live music there. Nice seating area outside if you desire. A perfect place to stop off for a bite and a drink as your passing through Gordonsville.
