This is my favorite sandwich shop in the world. I’ve been eating there for almost 30 years, and it’s better now than ever. I don’t want to oversell the place, but there are two critical aspects on which they cannot be beaten. The first is the bread, and the second is the dressing. Most of what they offer here is about the same as any other one-off sandwich shop, but no one else can touch that bread and the dressing. Here’s to hoping that they never change either of those!

Have been going to My Hero Subs for around 25 years, since I was in high school, a block away. The TBA has always been my favorite sandwich here. To this day, I still stop by as often as I can. I came here for the first time on a Saturday April the first and it was not busy it was in the afternoon I ordered two footlong sandwiches the steak with avocado chicken I think it had fuego sauce anyway it was delicious I was full of course I was I was a pig I grubbed it was really really good! Went in for lunch here after driving by it for the last three years. No line to wait in to order. Got the Ultimate Philly. The bread had good flavor and crunch but wasn’t overly hard. The meat was great and piled with melted cheese. Definitely going to be back to try some of their other sandwiches . They also have beer and some inexpensive sandwich specials too.

Wow, worst experience i have ever had here and I’ve been eating here for 10+ years. Why would you ever treat anyone the way you did sir. Be kind to all your costumers even the ones buying your Jr subs because it reminded me of my high school yrs here. Not anymore the new owner is very hostile if you don’t spend more than 10 dollars at his place. Treated me and my international friend the worst this is her first time in this country visiting and i bring her here and the guy immediately impatiently taking my order I felt like I was a burden to be helped. Be kind dude. That’s all you have to do even to ppl that want to buy your 3 dollar sandwich. You never know who you are running into.
