We visited this new location on a late Saturday morning. It didn’t seem too busy as they had over half of the tables empty. Yet our service was really slow. My guess is that it was just bad luck on our side. Our waiter did not visit us until 10-12 mins after we sat down. Once we ordered, food came fast. I ordered a skillet and most of the ingredients were not hot. Everything was warm. Pancakes were okay. My son ordered pancakes as his side, received toast. My wife received fruit as her side when she should have received fries. I know this location is fairly new but hopefully the service was more consistent for others. Decoration inside looked good and hostesses upfront were nice.

We’ve been eagerly awaiting the opening of this Brunch Cafe location and we finally had a chance to try it out a few days ago for breakfast. It was a great experience! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and our waiter was very attentive and checked on us often. The food was excellent, well-cooked, and came out quickly. What struck me the most is that not a single employee there gave off any kind of negative vibes. They were all so cheerful and happy and it really added to the brunch atmosphere of the place and made us feel welcomed. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about our experience and I look forward to returning again soon to try out more of the menu 🙂

Great location and atmosphere. I had the patty melt and a bowl of chicken rice soup, delicious. Service was average. Server brought water with no straw, soup with no soup spoon and I had to ask for a water refill. Besides those annoyances, everything else was as expected, good. I will make BC a will go back to again on my list of restaurants.

This was my first time at Brunch Cafe since they opened in Carpentersville. The restaurant is clean, fresh and comfortable. The service was great as was the food which was served quickly and hot. My only suggestion would be in regard to the hash brown potatoes. The flavor was slightly madkef by what was in my opinion, the use of older grease to cook them in. Other than that I would highly recommend and will return. Hopefully the hash brown issue was a “one-off”.

My family and I came in from out of town on Mothers Day, it was a very busy day we did make reservations but knew it would be a very busy and were okay with waiting. The cafe manager Autumn made everything run as smoothly as possible. Our food and service was wonderful we will be returning 🙂
