This was our first time here and for a lunch date. We had a reservation for 1:15pm and were seated immediately. The restaurant is kinda small but cozy and nicely decorated. It was very clean and nice.

My family and I visited for the first time ever. Parking is very much an issue and plan to spend at minimum 5-10 minutes looking. Plan to walk a distance of immediate parking isn’t available in the lot. Accessibility to the restaurant is a sidewalk, a ramp or stairs. Waiting lobby is small so if coming with a large group plan to be outside waiting. Food was absolutely delicious and many affordable options. We choose option 2-4 people and added a few extras, we had so much food and enough leftovers for today. I would love to see plates labeling all the different meat options and after a while the cooked meat looked & tasted similar. Services was great!!! Overall we had a great experience and will visit again

A great Japanese BBQ experience! Delicious appetizers and main dishes! Loved the onion fried rice, there was just something about it!! Miso soup was delicious as expected, dessert was plated amazingly, noodle dish was great, but the meats were fantastic

Gyu Kaku provides a unique dining experience where you’re able to cook the food on a grill thats built into the table. They provide you a large menu with an assortment of different cuts of meat to choose from. Beef, Chicken, Pork, Seafood, and a wide array of different small plates are available for ordering along with specialty entrees like Bibimbap and noodle dishes.

Definitely a dining experience! Come with a larger group of people and try lots of different foods. We came with experienced people who knew what to order which was so helpful. I could see it being a little overwhelming if everyone was newbies. I wish we had two grills for 6 people but we made it work. Overall had a good time. But you would have to be in the mood for doing all the cooking yourself- sometimes I just feel like ordering one dish (which this isn’t the place for).

We got the meat lover for 2 with extra apps on the side. It was busy so we waited 30 minutes to order our food despite being seated right away. Personally enjoyed the experience but it’s super crowded and was roughly $140+ for decent size meat with very little flavor.

This spot was just ok. Service was slow and inattentive with empty waters for most of the meal and maybe 1 check-in. Some meats were tender and flavorful but most of the thicker meat cuts were fatty, tendony and inedible. Had to spit out a bunch in the napkin while pretending to wipe my mouth so nobody sees or judges me.

The lunch special is worth it. $16 dollars for yakiniku was really filling and a fun experience with friends.

Love this place! Go to place for lunch. Only had 2 servers and one was being bartender so it took a minute for some things. Food was better than the drinks. Garlic Fried rice was my favorite!

Went here for dinner. I recommend making a reservation! They are quite busy. We got beef mainly and it was fantastic! Easy to cook and super tasty! We got individual orders of beef and only spend 60 dollars for the two of us. They were all celiac safe. The menu has gluten free choices listed clearly. I will be going here again in the future!
