This place is always a treat, since I was a little kid and would come with my parents in the 70s and 80s. The food is every bit as good as it was then. Fish fry with red relish, onion rings and coffee shake is my standard order. Picnic tables out back under cover are convenient when there is some rain, as there has been the past couple of times we have come. Fun food for once every few years!

Service is average, you order and they make your food and call you up for your fresh hot food. The fish is very fresh and perfectly breaded! It’s a very old fashioned atmosphere of sitting outside an old school pull up diner. A family favorite and tradition to stop at for lunch when visiting family.

Got the sea scallops that were cut in half. So for $20 I got like five whole scallops and a drink. The batter was thicker than I like and not seasoned well. Disappointed because people I know have recommended it. Much better scallops at nearby Boston Seafood. Service was good though.

I ordered fish and chips and fried mushrooms. It was good, but the portions were too small for the price. Not enough tarter sauce or horseradish sauce also. The person at the window was very pleasant and friendly. The fried mushrooms at Adams Pizza House are better. If you want good fish and chips and a large portion, drive to Williamsburg Snack Shack.

Ill start with the good fries here are fantastic the fried fish is pretty good as well but its a gamble that you usually lose at on the size of fish that you get, its always 2 pieces sometimes they are a decent size and most of the time both pieces together are smaller than just one of the decent sized ones. If the price was $10 less there would be nothing to complain about however paying around $25 for fish and chips from a walkup food hut you should expect larger portions. Burgers here are small frozen patties with very little flavor not horrible but i wouldnt call them good or bad just ok. Hotdogs should be avoided unless you are ok with paying premium prices for very cheap hotdogs. The only thing from here i liked was the fish and chips the price vs food portion ratio is why i only give it two stars the quality of the fish n chips is what saved it from just one star so overall this place falls into one category; overpriced cheap food.
