The best Hawaiian food in Orange County. Not only was the food delicious the staff was friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to help with our party to serve 160 people. The quality was above par! This restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. The outstanding food, coupled with the exceptional customer service, created a truly unforgettable experience. The food was okay. Most plates are near 20 dollars. But you do get alot of food. I do think there are better tasting Hawaiian places. My biggest problem was the rude staff. The girl at the counter seemed annoyed and never smiled. We asked for one cup to put hot sauce in and she refused. The rest of the staff was not friendly either or never smiled once. I’ll never come here again. Bad experience.

I didn’t care for the service and I thought their pricing was high compared to other Hawaiian food restaurants. I asked for vegetables in my bowl for which she charged extra which was ok; except, she charged amor $3 for two pieces of broccoli. The spam musubi was good and their combo plate with ok. Not on my list of places to revisit.

2nd time we have tried to get food around 7:45pm and were denied because they were “closing”. The sign on the door indicates they are open until 8. Seems they think that means they are ready to lock up and leave at 8, not serve customers until 8. Disappointed again.

Vickie the owner was wonderful and very accommodating to my facility’s requests. We ordered “3” large trays of catered items for my facility’s FriendsGiving celebration. Our request was to have the food ready to be picked up by 10:30am. Vickie stated that her staff didn’t arrive to work till 10:30am, so the request wouldn’t be fulfilled. However after some thought, Vickie changed her mind and allowed her staff to come in earlier to complete our order for pick up at 10:30am! All “3” large trays of food were very full and worth the price for each tray and able to feed more than 80 people. We would definitely order from Maui Hawaiian BBQ again for other events for the facility. Vickie was very professional and easy to work with. The food was very good, which everyone loved and enjoyed. Thank you.
