I hadn’t been here in years and while I was visiting home I wanted to try it. I thought it tasted like it was when I was a kid. I really enjoyed the hot turkey sandwich. Highly recommend the macaroni salad, it was delicious with a strong mustard/vinegar taste. Of course I had to grab Mister Bees chips too!

Very satisfied. My husband got the Italian sub and I got the BLT sub. Both were absolutely delicious! He also got the macaroni salad. We live far but would absolutely come here again if in the area. Only reason didnt give 5 stars was it was listed as having “dine in” and they actually do not. Well worth getting tho.

Very sad…..this was truly a childhood favorite sub shop! As a kid, I remember the great taste of the hot Italian dressing putting a slight burn on my lips, but loving the best Italian sub in the mid-Ohio valley. Sadly, the politics and degradation in quality has ruined the nostalgic experience of my childhood (late 70’s and all through the 80’s). I still love my childhood local favorites The Pizza Place, Napoli’s and JR’s Donuts. This place was once among those greats…..but no more. Just very sad.

I ordered my favorite ham and Cheese sub. It was wrapped in foil paper so therefore horribly soggy. For the first time I was extremely disappointed in Rubin’s. The flavor was excellent but the bread ruined my sandwich.
