I highly recommend this hip Mexican restaurant located in Durham Food Hall! I had the chicken crunch wrap and it was amazing! It has a crunchy cheese top and it’s packed with tomatoes, cheese, and sauce! I did the To-Go option and pick up was so easy!

In an awesome food hall located in Durham, NC. Is a delicious Mexican eatery with awesome crunchy wraps. While some friends and I hit the American Tobacco Trail, we stopped here for some gnarly grindage. The one known as “My True Love” and a few friends enjoyed our break here as I had the “Short Rib Wrap”. Most excellent. She had the “Pablono and Bean” of course we did splitsies. They were both delicious. Wr hung out here for a bit while charging our Onewheel’s. Then headed back out on the trail.

I was craving Mexican food and Ex-Vito did not disappoint. The Chorizo Burrito was delicious and the chips and Queso dip as well! If you’re craving that Mexican food, definitely stop in! The cashier was super nice and friendly too! LOVE IT!

I had a few of these homemade crunch wraps here and here’s my thoughts. The barbacoa one was one of the best things I ever put in my mouth. I’ve gone to Michelin Star restaurants with less flavor and deliciousness than that freaking wrap. The meat and everything in it is just perfect, I was blown away and almost dropped my wrap. The next day I got one with chorizo and chicken…it was ok. Dry and a solid 3/5. But that first one was freaking nuts

Highly recommend. I always take my out of town friends/family here, and recommend the short rib crunch wrap and it’s always a hit. It’s so good and it’s heavy. I’ve had the bowl before and it was OKAY i my opinion, they also give you a lot. But the Crunchwraps are the way to go. Guac and chips are also good. It’s not only a lot of food but it’s so tasty!

Ex Voto is so good! We stopped here today for lunch and I am so glad that we did. They had wonderful service. Every employee we spoke with interacted with us kindly. Their menu options are limited but all look amazing! I literally wish we lived in Durham so we could try it all. I got the chicken crunchwrap and it was perfection. The fillings were plentiful and the meat was so tender. Also the outside was covered with melted hoop cheese and my goodness, I am a convert. My husband got the chorizo bowl, and it was delicious as well. Well done Ex Voto! If we come back into town, this will be one of our first stops!

I had the short rib crunch wrap and really enjoyed the flavor! It was very savory and had a good amount of crunch to it. I definitely would buy it again

Went to Ex Voto for a late lunch today and from the experience I had about a year ago to today a lot has changed and not in a good way. First, the service was very lackluster with the staff not being very warming and kind. I asked about their tacos, as they were around a year ago, but unfortunately I was told with a little jab that they are no longer on the menu. So, I decided after reviewing their menu to get the seven layer bowl. The bowl comes with a heaping amount of rice, beans, guacamole, Pico de gallo, and cheese–wow, so much food! Unfortunately the quality just was not there. It had an odd after taste that I did not enjoy and it was a little on the salty side. I couldn’t finish my food and after spending $17 it made me very sad that I will now have to spend more money to get full.

We had an absolutely world-class experience with this restaurant. We were in town for a couple of days and were really looking to experience Durham’s rich and eclectic culinary scene. We had several locals point us toward ex-voto at the durham food hall. The food was unparalleled with anything else we had during our visit. The shrimp was VERY fresh, flavorful, and honestly, perfectly cooked. You can tell they have an A+ kitchen staff. The manager, Dallas, seriously took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. We were actually running late for our flight, but didn’t want to leave town without trying this restaurant. I figured I’d call ahead to see if I could place an order for pick up on the way to the airport. Not only did Dallas accommodate us, but he even offered to bring it out to us so we wouldn’t have to stop. We will definitely be dining in next time.

Returned and they made up for it by making my food on the spot which extended the wait—but it was worth it. Thanks guys!
