I can’t remember all the items we ordered, but all our food has been delicious every time. I have been there several times and the chef/owner is very friendly and kind and the wait staff have been as well. There’s plenty of parking in the back if none available in the front. It’s a small cozy place, I absolutely love it. The rolls are a great size. My favorite is the mango day roll. I am grateful and blessed to have had great experiences here every time.

Looks can be deceiving, average hole-in-the-wall strip mall exterior hides a sophisticated level of food that you usually find in high end restaurants. Everything was super fresh and presented beautifully. Chef Jun is so friendly. This is our go to Japanese place!

This is the real deal. It is difficult to find good sushi in the Cypress area, and this restaurant’s sushi is on par with restaurants found in Midtown. Their attention to detail sets Sushiyo apart from other Cypress sushi restaurants. Even the most basic California roll will exceed expectations. Many people appear to place orders to-go. If you dine in, you will be treated to great service. I did not see the full menu online, but they have a large menu posted on the storefront as well as in the dining area. We ate most before I thought to take a photo, but wanted to still share a glimpse of the meal. We will definitely return, and recommend also for takeout over others in the area.

Small sushi place, very friendly chef, he let me know my options because I really wanted sushi but I am pregnant so he even baked a roll for me that would usually be scorched, which I was really grateful for. Overall really liked this place and the fact that they have a large variety of food, not just sushi.

Been here 3 different times, dine-in, and it’s been lovely. Great place for a date. Very small, but usually empty. Lots of to-go orders I guess! The quality of the food is fantastic, staff makes you feel welcome and at home. I ordered the sushi boat for my birthday most recently and love it. Give this brand new business a chance! Prices are more than reasonably for the quality of the dishes.
