Good food and a wonderful ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating options. We celebrated my sisters birthday and had lots of menu items to choose between. I enjoyed the penne pasta with sausage, and peppers in a pesto sauce. Really big portion! My brother had the ribeye steak and it was grilled perfectly. My sister enjoyed the salmon. Unfortunately, the waitress was a little cold and disengaged. I’ll go back and hope the service goes better.

This is a country-style restaurant located in the middle of a beautiful town called Brookeville. It is a block away from the historical site known as “the little White House”, because it was served as America’s capital for about 18 hours in late August 1814 because of British’ invasion. Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant are very attractive with inviting and decorative night lighting on the trees. It’s Buffalo wings are fantastic, a must try. The steamed shrimp and crab/spinach dip are tasty. The pork chop I ordered was large size but the taste was not the best to my taste. It is kind of strange that we cannot order beers in pitcher inside but it is all right outside. Our price tag was about $45 per person.

I’ve been here many times over the years, but won’t be planning to go back. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and our table was right next to the bar. The service was extremely slow and the food was adequate. I used to love their grapefruit crushes, but this last time it was made with ocean spray and was completely watered down by the time I received it.

First, I have to say that my meal was absolutely delicious – it was cooked accurately and was very good for a meal at this price point which was quite a surprise. Dinner salad, filet with mashed potatoes and spinach – all excellent. Unfortunately, it was everything else about this restaurant experience that dragged my rating down.

We had a beautiful outdoor table on a warm April evening. I loved the nicely decorated tree and setting. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and the service was terrible. My salmon and grits was not flavorful. My friend’s pork chop was dry. My wife had the world’s smallest crab cake with fries. The meal server hastily dropped the food at our table. Our waitress, who had been largely inattentive, lost one of our credit cards and then was going to let us sit there until we asked the manager for help. Fortunately, a nice customer found the credit card our waitress had dropped. The manager gave us two vouchers for future food. The manager seemed like a good guy. Two stars because of the nice setting.

This is such a lovely environment, fireplaces indoors and out. Seating inside is pleasant, conversational and lovely. Outside is truly fun, lit for beauty and relaxation. Great for families with kids who don’t want to sit still for a leisurely meal – room to move about in sight of mom and dad. Fantastic menu variety and very pleasant server’s. We have been a number of times and really love it!

The ambiance was nice but their spacing seems to be small. I was with a party of 4 and I felt like we were placed for a table of 2. The appetizer of asparagus was delicious but my entre of salad with chicken was mediocre at most. The server was very accommodating and funny, which made up for it.

Gone downhill in last months. Silo Falls is local for us, we love the atmosphere, and we’ve been going for a long time but a number of things have taken a negative turn in the last months.
