I used to consider this restaurant my go-to place for a satisfying dining experience, but after today’s visit, I have decided that I will never step foot in this establishment again. Sadly, the behavior of one particular employee, a heavyset African-American attendant, has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and disappointed.

I was really disappointed with my meal from Roti Foggy Bottom. I did pickup / takeaway via the Roti app. When I got home, I opened up the dish and the bowl was only partially full. I almost thought it was a joke. It’s unfortunate to dissatisfy a customer. I wonder if my meal, with takeaway, was even smaller because it was takeaway, and I was not present to watch packaging. Ugh!

Please bring back spicy beef/steak! I had lunch on Sunday 04/01/2023 with my family. The restaurant was in immaculate condition. Clean as a whistle, and my food was not only made right, it was delicious. I dine here frequently enough that my meal was handed to me as I was walking in, nice and smooth. My family and I had a great time. Givenchy, Ahmad, Ashley, and Janay were all busy doing their tasks to keep the restaurant in tip-top shape. Not only that, but they were all exceedingly kind. I genuinely look forward to dining here and you should try a tasty bowl!

The food was fabulous. Although, the customer service was strange…I ordered two meals (one to eat in the restaurant and the other to have once I got home later on that evening). The price of the two meals were upward of 30 dollars. After I finished my meal I struck up a conversation with a homeless Army veteran seated directly outside of the restaurant. I felt obligated to giving him my extra meal considering that I am a vet too. Long story short after giving up my extra meal I headed back inside to replace the one I gave away. Once I got the register the price of the same exact meal I had already order no more than an hour ago miraculously went up $12.00. I repeat, two of the same exact dish cost me $37 dollars earlier, but now I was being requested to pay $25 for just the one… I’m no mathematician but I am pretty sure half of $37.00 is $18.50, no? There really arent any prices displayed so pay attention!

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Jay was not only rude but a horrible human being. She was racist and rude. I will never go to this restaurant if they have her as an employee. She was fighting with me and the manager had to come in but didn’t help much. She was rushing us with the order and when we said if we could take some time she passed nasty comments. The management should do something about this. No one should experience. Ruined our mood.
