I had the 4 piece fish. It came to the table molten lavas hot, fresh and tasty. The batter was crispy and the fish was cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious, I think their coleslaw is among the best in town. The red beams and rice were as good as anything I’ve gotten in New Orleans! The only suggestion is to offer a 2 piece option, because I couldn’t finish it. On my second time I tried the shrimp and fish. Next time I’m getting the shrimp because I have never had fried shrimp that were so tasty. Perfectly cooked with a buttery explosion of flavor, the shrimp is absolutely the best I’ve ever had!

We recently moved to the area and stopped at this restaurant. We have been back about 5 times since . The food is really good and we absolutely love the fries. The corn is very good and so is the Sam’s sauce. My only issue is with the employees. They are more concerned with being on their phones than attending to the customer. There is one older black lady that is on her cell phone walking around with it in her hand to deliver the food to the tables. And shes at the register using it until she’s ready to put it down to take your order. We also saw one younger girl in the back also on her phone talking. I’ve never been to a restaurant or store where the employees are more concerned with their phone than the customer. If they were a little more friendly that would be great. And maintaining the seating area a bit more that would be nice aswell. When we go to sit down many of the tables are dirty.

Great food and service. Went fir lunch right at 11:00. Didn’t have to wait long. Large portions of great tasting food! Will definitely go again! Great burgers and fried green tomatoes!

Well I stopped in at Sam’s tonight eighth of February 2017 and the food was just great the clams were are amazing! The shrimp was huge and the fish batter was perfect. I also grab the order of fried green tomatoes they were OK but a little on the light side for seven bucks. All in all wonderful meal great service I would recommend to anyone reading this comment.

Not much to look at, but food is great. Catfish strips are awesome. The chicken wings and strips are great. Definitely a place to stop and eat. We like self serve drinks and seating, do not pass up.
