My first time trying Home Slice pizza slices. I got the sausage slice. It won’t be my last visit! The pizza is not overly greasy or salty. The cheese was crispy on top with a nice pull underneath. The crust is thicker but it’s baked well and it’s buttery. The sauce is flavorful with a crushed tomato texture, giving it a nice texture. Great pizza

Home-Slice Pizza Shop & Drive Thru is one of the newest pizza places to open in the South Suburbs; Homewood IL to be exact. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was a great guy and a gentleman. He shared with me the journey and risk he decided to take opening his location. With his compassion and dedication to his vision, I knew the pizza would be delicious, and it truly is. The meatballs were amazing as well. The pizza has a retro taste that reminds you when pizza was actually good. Home Slice pizza shop and drive thru doesn’t cut any corners when creating a pizza you can truly enjoy. To put their pizza to the ultimate test. I had the opportunity to have some leftover pizza and tossed it in the microwave and after reheating it, it was still as delicious as when I originally bought it. Home Slice Pizza Shop and Drive Thru definitely will take you back to a time when pizza was pizza. Recently I had a opportunity to try one of the cold cut sub sandwiches and that was top chart as well. I highly suggest checking out Home Slice Pizza Shop and drive thru to give yourself a change of pace from the regular pizza places in the area. Five stars from me on the pizza, five stars on the meatballs and another five stars for the sub sandwiches (Italian combo that is). Also they have adult gaming there too, so you get a chance to win some money before you go lol.

Thought I’d give them a try since I was in the vicinity. Pizza is THE BOMB! Put my daughter on too. The (I assume) owner he is so nice. He greets you at the window with good vibes and a smile every time. I will always continue to spend my money anywhere I feel welcomed. Prices are on point, the food (I’ve had various items) is good. Been here twice now and they are def a top favorite on our list for a quick bite.

1st time trying this spot. 2 ppl ahead of me. Guy behind the counter polite but didn’t Crack a smile. Ordered 2 slices 1 sausage, 1 veggie. I was disappointed. The crust was very light and crispy at the top, but the base wasn’t as crispy. My sausage slice wasn’t fresh it was cold when I got to the middle and needed to be reheated at home. I ate the veggie slice the next day and it wasn’t bad. Reasonably priced, but not sure I’d try again.

First time trying this place out. The pizza was very hot when I ordered the 2 slices and a pop combo. Wide variety of different pops in a can. The lady who served me told me have a nice day. I was a bit suspicious of the frozen pizza however felt that this wasn’t the worst slice I’ve ever had. Much better than simply slices if I had to make a choice between the two.
