The Cellar Door was a pleasant venue with exceptionally attractive and attentive waitstaff who provided top-notch service. I would rate their waiter service as a solid 10/10. However, during our visit for lunch, the place seemed rather empty, which did allow for a peaceful dining experience. The music playing in the background was enjoyable, and it was refreshing to have a meal in such a serene atmosphere.

The food was really good. We did a road trip in the area for about 10 days and this was one of the best meals we had. Fresh, tasty, interesting flavours. The atmosphere was that of a club rather than a restaurant and the AC was really strong so we had to keep layers on. Personal preference probably, other customers didn’t seem to be bothered. Just a bit odd to have dinner overlooking a dance floor, but again, the food itself was great and the staff really friendly and efficient.

The team at Cellar Door is amazing. I walked in, from the other side of the country, and felt right at home. Their hospitality was top notch.

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. Went for a Valentine’s dinner with a set menu and they still got it all wrong. First was seated and shortly after was asked to move to a different table, then they took 20 mins to get drink order. Our tables food was not brought out simultaneously, literally two choices on the menu and the wrong food was brought out, on top of that the server was serving salad with her bare hands, literally dug her hands in a bin of tomato and slapped it on the plate. Honestly the only good part I can say was they understood and comp out bill. There are a lot more decent places in Visalia.

5 stars for “I LOVE ART BRO,” the Wednesday night art show/live music keeps me coming back! Such a rad spot with great energy and very kind Staff. Central raised dance floor/stage is intimate and welcoming, though you can sit at the surrounding tables/bar if you’d like to observe rather than join in. Small parking lot in the alley through the back door and surprisingly tidy bathrooms. Definitely always a good time at Cellar Wednesday nights!

All I can say is that if heaven was a restaurant..CELLAR DOOR would be it! The food is like having a burst of flavors in your mouth made with love. The mixologist is like the gate keeper of alcohols…tell him your dreams and he’ll please. The customer service is top tear,It’s exactly what you would expect from the VIP highest end restaurants; they treat you like family.
