There’s this Huddle House right off 22 in Tupelo. I was waited on quickly and served fairly quickly. I didn’t see salads, so I tried the rib tips with hash browns. Sitting at the counter was fun because I could watch them cook. My food was fresh cooked, and the meat was tender. Not bad for a quick, filling meal.

Silvia was our server. We ordered a water and coffee for drinks. Which was fine but no silverware to stir my coffee (she brought 2 cups). I ordered the Two egg platter..over medium eggs, bacon, grits and toast. The toast was done before the eggs were cooked but wasn’t buttered so I got COLD toast with a dab of butter on it that wouldn’t melt. Had to ask for silverware and got just a fork. Finally got a spoon. Never did get a knife to spread the butter or jelly on my toast. I drank one cup of lukewarm coffee but left the other because it was already cold. I set my empty cup to the side for a refill as she walked by but instead of refilling it she picked it up and walked away, leaving the cold cup even though she she had a full pot in her hand. I know she was busy but it seemed as though she was busy with the tables and not us at the counter. Hubs omelet was good and his biscuit was warm. I hope this was

My daughter and I missed the lunch rush and enjoyed the restaurant mostly to ourselves. Our waitress was attentive and kind, and our meals were cooked to perfection. We ordered a coffee, sweet tea, MVP, and a kid’s 2 egg breakfast. We left stuffed for under $20. The restaurant floors are slick/oily, so be careful, and the overall cleanliness is so/so. But the coffee is hot and the waffles are buttery, so that won’t stop us from coming back.

The menu choices are astounding!!! If you love french toast or pancakes with peaches, apples, strawberries, blueberries, or pecans, well stop here, because this is no ordinary coffee shop. Our waitress was as sweet as the tea and service was excellent! We left her a huge tip, not only because of the stellar service and food, but also because the entire crew obviously were all friends and treated everyone as a new friend. A rare place indeed. Total bill: $18.21 We left $50.

My mom and I ate here this past Sunday in the late afternoon. We both had the patty melt. The food was good and came out promptly. Our server took really good care of us. Our coffee cups were never empty!

I ordered the biscuit with sausage, hash brown, and medium egg with that yolk all piled up on each other with some sausage gravy!! Chef kiss!!!! On our way to Alabama and stopped right off the highway. My son ordered the breakfast burrito. He was in love as well. Definitely a great spot to stop at on your way through. And I bet the locals already know because it was soooo busy.

Haven’t been to a Huddle House in years. The service here was tremendous, server was super friendly and the omelet was fluffy with plenty of meats. Bacon wasn’t too crispy, toast wasn’t over toasted. Very pleasant experience. I had no idea this place was tucked behind the truck stop until my coworker showed me. Gets pretty busy on Friday mornings.

Face it, you don’t come here for the ambiance. The service was good. The food was fine, the portions filling. The menu is all comfort food. Good value for your dollar. If your expectations are in line with what they provide, you won’t be disappointed.
