This is one of those very special places for me. It’s kind of a hideaway. Quiet comfortable atmosphere with a open and spacious layout that provides ample room if it’s crowded. I love going when they open at 7am. It’s like having the place all to myself.

Ms Dana made my dining experience great. She recommended items for breakfast she took my order without paper and pen. Amazing. When my food came it was about 10 min and my order was correct. I will be back again. Hats off to the cooks at Chicago Heights location.

Overall a good place to eat. The entree selection is great and the service is very good. The restaurant including restroom seemed clean. I ordered the meat lovers skillet and I thought it was excellent (despite a previous review that said otherwise). The coffee is good, and they leave the carafe on the table, which I love. Our waitress was great. My only suggestion is that they offer pure maple syrup (even at an up-charge would be okay). There are customers like me who dislike imitation syrup. It is becoming difficult to find a breakfast place that offers the real syrup, so this would draw me to Stacks more frequently.

Excellent service, excellent food, nice size proportions, I had a Stack’s skillet and a couple of pancakes, my wife had pancakes and she throughly enjoyed them. The food came out tous pretty quick too, we’re making Stack’s our Sunday breakfast place

This is my second time here at this location. The 1st time we took a to go home order after dinning in. We were charged for fresh strawberries which we diidnt receive. Today my 1st cup of coffee had a piece of hair floating in it. The waitress quickly replaced it with an apology. 1/3rd into my veggie omelett and I started eating something crunchy. The consitency of what I thought was an egg shell. When I showed it to waitress, I was told by I assume the manager that they use egg cartoons. So now I’m horrified of what I could have possible be chewing on. They offered to replace it, but I was completly turned off. For my inconvience I was offered a senior discoumt of $2.67. The math is not adding up to the experience.

I must have came on a bad day. sausage was greasy hashbrowns was greasy, had too much garlic and pancakes was dry. But the kale juice was great!!! I’ll try again maybe. but not for a while.
