Tucked away off 107 in Edcouch, Texas is a little gem of a country resturant called Gigi’s. In my opinion it rivals anything in the Texas Hill Country and well worth the visit. Great friendly staff, very clean, and nice atmosphere.

Wow. What a hidden gem. The food, atmosphere and especially the people here were absolutely fantastic. The best meal I had had in a long time. Almost everything is made from scratch, and it tastes like it. You can definitely taste the love they put into everything. If you are heading to or from South Padre Island, it is definitely worth the detour. I highly recommend Gigi’s restaurant.

As soon as you get there the atmosphere is cozy. The people there are so friendly. And we were in a big group and they still kept their cool. They had a lot of options made from scratch and the food was delicious. It was pricey but in my opinion it was well worth it. The outside seating was very nice,shady and fresh.

I highly recommend. The service was great, atmosphere was relaxing, and I enjoyed one of the best lattes I’ve tasted. The food was delicious. It was savory, fresh, and made from scratch. My picky eater autistic son loved the french toast. They didn’t require syrup and that says a lot. I don’t write reviews but this cute cafe deserves all the praise.

Gigi’s is my favorite restaurant. The food is consistently excellent in flavor. Like the other reviews say, the place is cozy and helps me relax as well. Their homemade bread is too die for; order extra slices.
