Took a party of 12 to Southerly on a Thursday evening. Service was good for a single waitress helping out 12 people. Overall, the food was very good, albeit roughly $35 a person. They do offer a 15% military discount which is nice.

Lively rustic vibe located in the Pearl Brewery. Our waitress was super helpful. We arrived at 1:00pm so we ordered off the brunch/lunch menu. We started off with drinks. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, shrimp boil, Belgium waffles, Chicken and Waffles, and Crab Mac and Cheese. We all shared, so we could have a sample of everything. Everything was delicious. Now I will break it down by my opinion of the meal.

One of the best restaurants at The Pearl. Brought our friends visiting from out of town and they were blown away! Everything came perfectly cooked, flavorful and generous portions. Our waitress was so friendly, she gave us lots of recommendations. Wonderful take on Southern food and beyond!!!

Simply hands down a can’t miss in San Antonio. We visited with a reservation on a Friday night at 5:30pm and every detail was perfect. Seated immediately, kind staff at the doors to guide us in, greeted warmly by our server Meredith, tasted a flight of exceptional beers from the micro brewery – all of this was exquisite and we hadn’t even tried the food yet. The duck egg rolls and beet salad were both delicious and then we saw the mushroom soup so had to taste. That dish we will remember forever! Our entrees were also a hit (kampachi for my husband and scallops for me). We couldn’t say no to the coconut key lime cheesecake and glad we didn’t. We can’t wait to be back. Wish we got the runners name – he was so friendly! Thanks Meredith and Philippe for the great conversation and service!

Restaurant/brewery is part of a beautiful hotel, Hotel Emma. The inside of the restaurant has a classy industrial feel. The outside patio is great to people watch. They brew their own beers here and I enjoyed their Saba Copper Alt. We ordered the deviled eggs, pretzel and salad for appetizer and their fried chicken and biscuit with a side of fingerling potato and corn bread for dinner. There was a mishap with the kitchen but the staff took care of it. The staff were attentive and extremely nice. The food was only ok. I would come back for ambiance and drinks but would go somewhere else for food.

They brew their beer onsite which is really cool. Came here to escape the heat and have a nice dinner. We had the duck rolls, calamari, fried chicken, and house salad. Duck rolls were amazing, a must order. But things went downhill from there as the breading on both the calamari and the fried chicken was super salty. The salad was ok. We did enjoy the environment and the service was great. Will order not fried dishes next time and hope those are better.

Another great experience at Southerleigh! We had the pork schnitzel and the grilled kampachi filet. The presentation was perfect, and the food was delicious. Alexandra served us and did a fantastic! This restaurant is fun to visit because the patrons are interesting (good people watching) and the building has so many interesting features. Give Southerleigh’s a try, it will become your favorite.

A super cool spot! The interior was so Intirguing and historic looking. The atmosphere on the patio(where I sat) was wonderful as well, with a nice view of the fountain. The server was so sweet and answered all the questions I had about the antelope! I did go for it and it did not disappoint! The blackberry demi glaze to compliment was out of this world!!!! I did go with chefs recomendation of medium rare but would possibly go for rare next time 10/10 would go back!
