When we moved down to the South Shore from just north of Boston we were completely spoiled by Regina’s Pizza. Desperate to find good non-bar style pizza on the South Shore we were happy to have found Crust which is the closest we’ve come to finding pizza equivalent in style to Regina’s in the area. Bergamo and Sicilian are by far our favorites! They have inconsistent quality; sometimes the toppings are not evenly spread or ingredients seem lower quality depending on the pizza you order.

I had high hopes but unfortunately I was disappointed. The cheese pizza had almost no tomato sauce and to be honest I am not sure the was any. The dough was good but could have been cooked a little longer. The cheese was good, and a generous portion but over powered the pizza because there was not enough tomato sauce. The wedge salad had plenty of lettuce and tomato but not enough blue cheese or bacon. Service was adequate but not welcoming. We will nor rush back.

Pizza was good, and it came out relatively quickly. I think there may have been some sort of ventilation issue when I went – it was very smoky and my eyes were stinging after a while. There is outdoor seating, so this isn’t too much of an issue.

This place is great one night and awful the next. Awesome place when they cook the pizza and it’s got crisp. Go next night, and it’s doughy, super greasy and clearly done a different way. Management needs to work on creating a repeatable experience. Otherwise, will not go any longer

Sandwiches, pizza or salads made to order with a smile. A few tables inside and on beautiful Scituate days a few tables on the front porch overlooking the fountain and reservoir. Eat in or takeout. Food is delicious. Great for anyone looking for a quite bite for lunch or dinner. My advice if possible, call ahead as they do get busy.

Unfortunately, the pizza at Crust is very inconsistent. I picked up slices about a month ago and they were excellent. I noticed at that time that there was someone other than the owner making the pizza and hoped that was a good sign – that he (the owner) had hired someone who knew how to make a good pizza. Unfortunately, on a recent order for a whole pie that person was not working, and it appeared that the pizza had been made by the owner. The pizza was under cooked and soggy, so much so that it was difficult to get the slices out of the box to put into the oven to cook longer. The pizza was so poorly cut that one couldn’t even see the slices on some of the pie. Where slices could be seen, one slice was only about two inches wide at the crust while the next slice was about five inches wide. The sauce was awful. I grew up in Queens, NY, where the pizza is extraordinary and so I may have very high standards when it comes to pizza, but this place completely misses the mark.
