I love BBQ. The sauces here are great! Wings were good.Brisket was a little dry. Ribs were tender. Very minimal smoke. Greens were awesome. Potato salad was awful. The shrimp PoBoy was over sauced and too much bread. Service was great!

If I was to grade the food it was more like a C. The barbecue ribs and chicken had a spicy dry rub, however the meat was a bit dry on both. As if the food was made 2 or 3 days ago and just heated in a convection oven. I feel they may have been relying to heavily on their on the table sauces to make up for the lack of certain dryness and flavor. The staffing was really great. The decor is a subtle rustic southern Bbq place motif which was nice. Plenty of seating for a Friday evening dinner. But I guess lacking in Flavorful flare when it pertains to their bbq meats for the prices.

I’m not overly familiar with the Worcester dining scene, but was pleasantly surprised by Smokestack. The vibe, service, and food was tough to beat. The location is great and parking wasn’t too difficult even with 6 inches of snow. Nice selection of beer and the BBQ rivals anything else in New England.

Smokestack Urban BBQ was an unknown but after we left , it is know and will be revisited . Barbecue was on the excellent level ; brisket was delicious , ribs were meaty with nice smoke rings , pulled pork got good reviews and chicken was pretty good but a little on the skimpy side . Barbecue beans were excellent as was the potato salad (spicy) and cucumber slices ! All in all , it was a very good meal that we enjoyed ! Nice job Smokestack !

Had a good time here in regards to food, atmosphere and beer. I really enjoyed my plate of pulled pork (it was enough for two people really) and the local beer selection was pretty good. Also we asked to have our fries come out earlier, and they put them in a separate metal container. There were a lot of fries in there! Finally they have 3 different bbq sauces at the table that are all very good. Definitely coming back!

I found everything on my plate to be perfectly flavored. Not overdone with salt and not underdone with flavor. I was pleased to find the pork was NOT dry which is the case at many of the places offering smoked meats. I loved the mac and baked beans too. There wasn’t anything I did’t like. Even the ambience was good. I visited with my children and the place was kid friendly.

Nice restaurant split into three different areas. On the far right there’s an open area for a outdoor bar with the bar on the inside right next to it and on your left when you walk in is the dining area. Both areas are available if you want to eat there the bar has more booths and bar stools while the dining room has more tables and is better if your with a group. Food is very good as well as staff and service.

Pulled pork, half chicken, and ribs were amazing! The brisket was a little bit gelatinous and the fat wasn’t rendered out properly. Other than that, great BBQ joint!
