We loved this place!! It smells so good when you’re walking through the parking lot. It’s a small restaurant with home cooking, but big on flavor. They have generous portions and the prices are very inexpensive. My husband got the Barbecue Brisket Frito pie and I got the Loaded Baked Potato with brisket, cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, and butter. Both our selections were incredibly good!! And we got their Banana Pudding to go (we were both stuffed already but couldn’t resist the pudding) We definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Hopefully we can come back to Rockport soon (we are on vacation and live in Austin). We might even stop by here again on our way back home.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The from the food to the service. First off I want to say how much we appreciated Nikki who assisted with our order and service she is absolutely top notch. If you can grab a seat in her section. The food came out quickly which wad awesome. We had a sampler appetizer to start with with was very good and a good portion of food as well. We had the fried shrimp and a large loaded baked potato which was in my opinion perfect. Everything came out hot and fresh. Their desserts look delicious but only one of was still hungry enough to order the banana pudding. Overall I definitely recommend this place for over-all variety and service. I will definitely be eating here again.

Briskly was on the salty side but still great, fried shrimp, cheeses steak, wings were all very good and everyone had take home bags. Great deal for the money. Service was also very good and friendly. Pay cash and save on the tab… but add that to the well deserved tip. Weird roadside cafe ambiance, but clean. So good!

This was our first trip here since moving to the area. The server/cashier was extremely kind and had great communication with the kitchen staff. We ordered a chopped bricket sandwich with pinto beans and a sliced brisket sandwich with potato salad and they included onions/pickles/BBQ sauce on the side. From the bread to the brisket everything was PERFECT! The portion of brisket alone was far beyond other places and the taste was incredible! The bread tastes homemade and pairs beautifully with the brisket and onions. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, highly recommend!

Good shack of Texas bbq and Texas seafood. I got the catfish plate with baked potato and potato salad. Catfish was battered really well. Fish was tender and baked potato was really soft. My son ordered the shrimp plate and he loved it. It came with steak fries. My other kids split the tenders and fish fillet kids meal and they devoured it. The chicken was good to their standards. My wife ordered the brisket and sausage plate. Brisket was smoked really good and tender. My other son is a pork rib fanatic. The spareribs were smoked good. It had a decent smoke ring on it and for 1/2 pound of ribs he got 4 ribs. We ordered for pick up and I’m glad we did. The “shack” was crowded and there was a wait to be seated. Jeremy was hustling the whole time. Not sure if he was the owner but he was everywhere at once. Other staff members were friendly and were on top of tables inside the restaurant. Definitely eating here again when we come back to Rockport. AA++

This is a great little place. 2 of us had the loaded baked potato and the other 2 got the steamed seafood in foil. The loaded baked potato was awesome. Definitely worth the price. The other 2 said the steamed seafood in foil was good and was more than they could eat.

Ate there for the first time today and it was awesome. Highly recommend the seafood bomb. It came out steaming hot and delicious. The vegetables in it were so delicious as well. The pork ribs were huge and delicious. We were greated soon as we entered and the service was amazing. We will be back for sure

Wonderful food, excellent service in a comfortable space. BBQ done right! We usually have chicken and ribs. Both are smoked perfectly and everything is fresh! Any of the sides are a good choice. Cole slaw and potato salad have always been good. The brisket baked potato is another good choice. So glad this place is busy and going strong. They know what they are doing and they take care of their customers!

Got take out. It was an easy process. Phone answered promptly and food was ready in exactly the amount of time that I was told. We got the family meal for 2 which for us was 1/2 pound of brisket and 1/2 pound of fried shrimp and two sides. The sliced brisket was tender and just the right amount of fat but it was slightly bland. The fried shrimp had a delicate batter that was flavorful and I appreciate that there was not so much breading. The beans were great! Really flavorful! The cole slaw was too sweet for my taste. I’d skip the jalapeño popper appetizer. The jalapeños were certainly hot but the appetizer tasted like it had come from a freezer bag.
