I love the atmosphere and design choices at Slay Hermosa, from the neon light up sign to the murals. The lower patio is dog friendly although you’re right on the busy street corner, and they also have indoor and upstairs seating available if you don’t bring a dog. We were able to make a reservation on OpenTable, and they had parking available on the nearby streets.

Definitely will try the steak sandwich next time, the pancakes are probably one of the best I’ve had in a while, fluffy and fulfilling. I mean it was good but not the greatest, also the chilaquiles were good but not fulfilling. The upstairs seating was nice but didn’t have an ocean view just a heads up. Great staff and nice atmosphere, I’ll give it a 2nd chance to further explore the menu. The best part was the Bloody Mary, super delicious!

Absolutely amazing job decorating and love all of the different dining areas (rooftop, main dining, front patio). Food is unbelievable and cooked to perfection! Bacon wrapped scallops, steak sandwich, and sole were piping hot and delicious! Great variety on menu. Servers and everyone were so friendly and inviting! Can’t wait to come back!

Very nice restaurant! My wife’s grilled salmon was delicious and my double smash burger was very good (a bit heavy on the mayo/secret sauce), and the butterscotch dessert was to die for!

It was a year ago but so new then, they weren’t on Google yet. But better late than never. Me and my daugther had a wonderful evening with great food. We had such nice conversations with the guests and felt very “local” in Hermosa. Then we needed a taxi, but forgot to bring cash. I had trouble with my Card and with Uber. So the lovely owner gave us 20 dollar to get safe to the hotel. If you trust your guests this much you deserve way more than 5 stars. I hope you are all doing well and thanks again for making sure we got home safe

I went here on a date recently. We had the best service from Jennica. She was attentive and she recommended great dishes. We had the chicken and it was phenomenal. Good service is hard to find and Jennica did that for us.

Best steak sandwich I’ve ever had! Always keeps me coming back but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu – and all appetizers are amazing. I’ve had the same wonderful waitress each time, super friendly and incredible service. Will be back again and again.
