Disclaimer: I put me because we all gonna have a difference of opinion!!! It really wasn’t my cup of tea over all. The food wasn’t hot(spice or temp)to my liking the service was fast however. The skin on the jerk was tough, the meat was flavorful once you pulled the skin off. The mac was dry to me. Now them plantains however was made heavenly, not being hot they still had a crisp and wasn’t soggy. The service was great. He answers all questions and ask do you have questions. Store was clean and the atmosphere of reggae playing in the background perfect!

Ordered curry goat, It was unbelievable. The flavor and texture was on point. The cabbage was delicious, texture, and flavorwise was absolutely perfect. The rice and peas were great. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back.

I can’t wait to return to Kalabash! The staff were so friendly, and they make every dish with love. We had the jerk chicken and curry goat, and the sauces had AMAZING flavor. Great balance of spices. We also ordered three patties: saltfish, beef, and chicken. We love the fillings of each, and the patties were freshly fried. The best Caribbean I’ve had since leaving Boston! Suffolk is so lucky to welcome Kalabash.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The food was okay the first time, however the 2nd time I went I got the curry chicken and it was horrible. I asked for gravy on the rice and what I received seemed to be watered down and made the rice have no flavor what so ever. The chicken had no flavor also, and the cabbage was cold. Also when I was waiting for my food to come out I heard a beeping noise as if he put the food in a microwave to heat it up. AVOID this place at all cost.

Chef Luke puts pure love into his dishes! This food is simply divine. It is flavorful, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Worth every penny. Drove 40min from the peninsula just to get some. I will be back!
