UPDATE: Today, once again, great experience. This store is immaculate. I noticed how clean it was so then–almost as a joke–started doing a sort of “white glove” check of every surface I could reach. No dust anywhere. Like hospital operating room clean. Even the restrooms. It’s an older store and needs refurbishing, but what they have today they keep spotlessly clean. Excellent service. Good food. Justin manages it well. Definitely go check it out.

The atmosphere and service were great. Unfortunately, we came in for a particular dish that was no longer on the menu. My father is extremely particular in that respect. The recipe of the blooming onion changed as well. My father has a sub par experience. The chicken ceaser salad that I had was good. The chicken didn’t quite “match” the salad for taste but was definitely palatable.

Pretty darn good meal. Not overly expensive. Our table had the filets which were cooked perfectly, and the grilled salmon which was excellent! Wedge salads were huge and the bread was served hot and often. Had not been to an Outback in years but will return more often now!

So I was a little worried about choosing this place for my birthday dinner. I have driven past here so many times. It looks a little rundown outside, so I though it couldn’t be that good? Well, I really wanted king crab for my birthday!! So my husband and I took a chance. What’s the worst that could happen? The place needs some TLC on the exterior and signs. That’s it! NOW the food and service. I was very surprised how nice it was inside. The staff had genuine smiles, and very charming! It was slow, but that could be because we showed up an hour before close. You know how everyone is tired at close and the food shows it? Well, it didn’t. We were seated immediately, and our server was there in less than 2 minutes with our drinks. She was so happy and kind! She knew the menu very well, and answered all my questions. She wasn’t in a hurry at all. Not in a bad way either. I ordered the wedge salad, which was to die for! The dressing was the best Blu with vinaigrette dressing I have ever had! The crab legs were very generous and very well cooked. The lobster was okay, but that’s because I don’t enjoy it very much. I got it just for my husband to compare lobster meat vs crab meat texture. The veggies were delicious and perfectly cooked. Nice crispy fries, and great fry sauce. My husband had the classic burger & added all the cheese’s except provolone. He had it cooked medium rare. It was perfect ! He didn’t even talk until it was gone! For my birthday they gave me a choice between the cheesecake and thunder down under Brownie dessert. I chose both. The cheesecake was superb! Creamy and fluffy. The brownie dessert was moist and chewy, with the perfect combination of ice cream to whip cream ratio, and the fudge topping was not overwhelming. A perfect dinner all around! Thank you Whitney for such an amazing experience! Give this place a try and you will see the food, service, and atmosphere is well worth 5 stars!!
