Got to come here for dinner one night to support the San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition! Willie’s does spirit nights that benefit local charities which is very cool! This was my first time here but not my husband’s. I appreciate that they have vegan options for me such as the fried mushrooms, fried onions and fried pickles! My husband is not vegan so he had a lot of options. I’d really like to see the Impossible burger offered here in the future! Would be a nice vegan addition to the menu!

First time at Willie’s – it was excellent all around. Food & service top notch. Our server, Allison, was absolutely the best! From the fried mushrooms & gravy/ranch to the chicken fried steak and fried chicken club. And jack & coke Icees were spot on!!! Be back soon

We visited Willie’s Grill and Icehouse for a family outing. This Willie’s is on U.S. 281 on the west side fairly close to the Brook Hollow intersection. The restaurant is close to Power Fitness and Country Village Plaza. It was the second trip for most of us.

We had a fabulous time!! The food was absolutely amazing! Service was great! The margaritas actually had alcohol in them (which many other places just barely have alcohol, it’s basically a smoothie). It was such a nice night we sat on the patio and the kids got to play in the little same pit, super great! Definitely will be going back. (Forgot to take a picture of the food cuz I was too busy gobbling it up!)

The staff was so friendly and accommodating! My husband got my order wrong and the lady was like, “we can fix it! Let us get you the fried chicken!” Kimmie, our server, was the sweetest/best! She checked on us multiple times, made sure we had everything we needed, and joked around with us. The food was good as well – we got the gumbo (spicy!) and the Cobb salad. Very good portions and yummy! The fried Mac n cheese balls were good, too.

One of mine and my mom’s favorite places to order food from never have an issue until today. My mom is a fan of there catfish to be honest it’s the only place she will order Catfish. She ordered the five piece with loaded baked potato and coleslaw and only got two pieces of catfishand a hard baked potato. Other then that it was amazing as usual. Hopefully this was a one time mistake we definitely will be back. On a side note get the Country fried steak it’s the best.

Great food place. We came here after we weighed in for a powerlifting meet and let me tell you the chocolate Oreo milkshake was *MUAH* and the fried pickles really came in clutch. Ambiance was great and the ordering process was easy. Order, grab your drinks, find a table and be served your food. Carlos, our waiter was on top of it all. Would recommend. The only thing that disappointed me were the sweet potato fries. Texture wasn’t consistent but they tasted good for flavor.
