They have the best homemade pies. I got mexican cornbread and white beans and it was delicious. We also ordered a chicken sandwich. Wonderful! Please try this place. Sometimes the line is long but you are getting homemade food.

I got a half chicken plate, that comes with beans, I got the mustard slaw and chips. Everything was delicious and I got some banana pudding to top off my meal which was REALLY good! This spot had been added to my favorites.

I always get the mixed beans with Mexican cornbread, and it’s very tasty and “down-home”. The drive thru is the lowest tech thing ever but it really works–some guy leans out a literal window to take your order, and then a nice lady opens a door and hands it to you. You do have to pull in the drive-thru near McCaig’s boot store, on the side street by Publix.

You can’t go wrong with this little local place. Skip the generic bbq from Ricks and get the real deal here. I love the salads, maybe not the healthiest salad but it’ll definitely be the best salad you ever had.
