Went with a large group for lunch and we all enjoyed our experience. It’s inside a little shopping area/food court. Our server was nice enough. The service was a little slow but I didn’t expect it to be fast with such a large group. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed it so much, even if it was a bit pricey. But then again, you can’t usually get cheap seafood in South Dakota! Will be back if in the area again.

So many choices in the area and we definitely made the right choice! My friend is visiting and has celiacs so sometimes it’s tough to find the right fit for all of us. We arrived at Swamp Daddy’s and never have I ever seen so many gluten free menu choices! Never have I ever seen so many CAJUN gluten free menu choices in my life, the rue usually takes them off the list!!

The best authentic Cajun food! The waitresses are the best I’ve ever had. Very hospitable, helpful and kind. The food is cooked and flavored perfectly, definitely plan to come back again. My new favorite restaurant!

We went to Swamp Daddy’s for the Downtown Burger Battle at lunchtime on a Saturday. The Magnolia Burger was tender and juicy. The side of fries was seasoned nicely, but they could have used roughly another 30 seconds in the fryer. Our server, Alicia, was the variable that took this dining experience to the next level. She was attentive to our needs, she constantly had a smile on her face, and she was so, so friendly. For me, she is a shining example of what a good waiter or waitress should be. Great job, Swamp Daddy’s. Great job Alicia.

Very good Seafood boil, nice atmosphere, waitress was phenomenal. Was a little slow on getting our orders. Drink took a bit, and everyone who didn’t have the boil got there food and was almost done before the boil came out, but the server was great and we still had a good time. I’ll for sure be back for another boil. Was a lot, filling and very good!

Really wanted to like this place but the food was really bad. I’m not from New Orleans or an expert on Cajun food but I know gumbo is supposed to have a roux and be thicker than whatever chicken soup they serve as gumbo. There was also zero seasoning or flavor in it. Alicia was very nice tho.
