I always drive by this place and decided to finally make a visit. I’m glad I did. The food and drinks were very good. The fish taco was quite large and would have been enough to fill me. The salsa bar is a nice touch. Always get the horchatas.

Good food and great prices. I orderd a super shredded chicken burrito to go and it was pretty good. Very clean restaurant and wonderful service. I especially loved the pack your own condiments section with peppers, salsa (3 or 4 kinds), radish, limes and spicy cucumbers.

The meats are so good. The carne asada and adobada are on point and the asada is grilled not in a griddle so u can taste the difference on the meat and the fries are really good. To the point we come for the steak fries and ask for beans and double meat and ask for two kind adobada and asada on the fries plus the salsa bar is good too. Plus the quesobirria tacos are a hit too that’s my nephews favorite item to get here.

We’re pescetarian (only seafood and veggies). We’ve been here a few times now. The fish tacos are pretty large and taste good. Hubby usually gets the fish burrito which he enjoys. They have a small parking lot but we’ve always been able to get a spot. They have a self-serve salsa bar that includes limes, chili cucumbers and all the fixings. Staff are usually pretty busy, but friendly and helpful.

Only place I know of in Hayward with fresh made tortillas. Tacos – fish, shrimp, carne asada, and carintas were alll excellent. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to try to torta ahogado.

Ordered the fish tacos and the fresa con leche drink, and it was sooooo good. Honestly, I would go back just to get that strawberry drink again lol. I really liked how they had their salsa bar out so u can grab as much or whatever you need. They had about 4 different types of salsas plus the chile curtido and rabanos and onions with limes. The price difference from the small to large drink was only a dollar but the size is a huge difference. I reccomend just getting a large.

The carne asada here has so much flavor! The tacos come with corn tortillas made from scratch. Their salsa bar is pretty good and you can grab as much salsa as you want. They have flavored drinks here that are so delicious. I highly recommend the horchata, it’s so good!

Chicken Tender
First time at TG, so I asked the cashier for recommendations. She suggested the shrimp and fish tacos, which sounded like a good idea. Actually, it was shrimp or fish, not both in one. I went ahead and got one of each, and honestly can’t decide which was better. The fish was flakey, tasted fresh, and the batter was light and had a nice crunch. The shrimp was in large pieces, the seasoning was delicious and balanced. Next time I might just have to flip the shrimp taco onto the fish and eat it that way. I usually get tacos at my neighborhood Mexican grocery store’s taqueria; the tacos at TC are huge in comparison, and are simply amazing.
