The freshest sushi in Huntington Beach or maybe Orange County. We’ve been coming here for dinner and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They also serve amazing desserts. Presentation is as good as the taste! Truly exceptional! Jimmy’s is the greatest host!

I heard that this is one of the better choices for Japanese food in Huntington Beach. What I found was that sashimi and sushi quality was pretty average and in one instance salmon roe was so not fresh that it should not have been served. Octopus slices were too chewy and difficult to swallow. Specialty rolls we had were fine. Black cod steamed with mushrooms and green onion was good but the sauce was a bit too spicy. Given the premium prices on these dishes, they need to improve quality on the basic sashimi and sushi being served. Banana spring roll with ice cream was very good. Soba noodles with fried shrimps was nice except soba is not the freshly made type. Sushi chefs seem to be Japanese.

Collin was absolutely a spectacular server and he took so many photos of me with my friends, yet kept a cheerful attitude and was not annoyed with us in the slightest! He’s kind, intelligent, and just was a delightful human to be around. The food was beyond incredible. I’m in awe of this experience.

Came here to meet a friend that I haven’t seen in a while. This place looks a bit small on the outside but we were seated right away on a Sat noontime. Their menu was extensive that I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat. We ended up getting a sushi platter and some additional sushi. The fish tasted fresh and food came out fairly quick. Would recommend coming here again if ever in the area.

Outstanding quality sashimi, fatty tuna, toro, and salmon all melted in my mouth. Ask for what’s in season and get fresh wasabi! The uni was fresh and amazing! I would not recommend the rolls, fried squid legs, or “sushi pizza” as much (all pictures.” Price is expensive but worth the experience because the quality is unmatched.

Hashigo Sushi is a little spot tucked into the corner of the Big 5 parking lot. Despite many years of living in the area and visitingthe shopping mall I had no clue it was here until other locals mentioned this spot,so keep your eyes peeled so as to not miss thespot. It’s definitelya local spot that is a great kept secret!

I went her with my Japanese Aunt, brother and niece. A little out of the way for us but it was worth the trip. She highly recommended it because everything is so fresh. I would have to agree! Everything was delicious!!! Staff was wonderful as well. Service amazing! We will all be back again! I do have to add a wonderful surprise is they had a saki there that was from my families home town in Japan. It’s a small town so finding it was quite a surprise. Again, a must stop! Enjoy!

Party of 5 that sat on the patio. The owner and the staff were very nice and accommodating! Our server, Jeff, was funny, personalable, and also very very busy! The food was delicious (try the Wasabi stock, you won’t regret it) and the sake was great! We will 100% come back the next time we are in town.
