This evening (5/8/23) I placed an online for two 2 meat plates as well as an additional side to go along with it. After placing this order I received a call about 7 minutes before scheduled pick up letting me know that they were out of two sides (mac and cheese and baked potato casserole). I completely get it, things happen, and it’s no big deal. However, the woman who I spoke with on the phone and at the front counter was, quite frankly, rude and ugly acting. Her tone made it seem like it was my fault they were out of items and got frustrated when I was there to receive my order. She slapped the receipt onto my bag and informed me that my order was ready before storming off. I understand being in a rush during a busy time like dinner but it did not appear that they were busy at all. (One family sitting and two or so in line)

The brisket is great. And they aren’t skimpy with the brisket portions like the BBQ place across the street. This chain is my new “go to” for BBQ. Especially when I’m wanting good brisket. And if you haven’t heard, or if you’re not sure you’d like fried okra, you’ve GOT to try some. Theirs is the best anywhere! And FREE ice cream for dessert!

Good food but Dickey’s will relentlessly spam you with e-mail offers. Not unusual to get 3-4 per day. The problem is this Brandon location often doesn’t participate in any of the deals or offers in the barrage of e-mails.
