Omelette Express is like a step back in time. The ambience pays homage to times gone by with classic cars adorning the walls and chairs that will remind you of your Nana’s house. The food is better than breakfast at Nana’s house though, and it comes out fast and just as you ordered it. It’s a great depot stop for breakfast – you’ll be welcomed warmly, fed quickly and if you leave hungry, we’ll, it’s your own fault because the portions are big.

There’s a reason why this place is a standard go-to for breakfast & brunch: the selections are vast, the food comes out super-rapidly if you avoid the rush-hour times, and the table service is fabulous (again, if you avoid popular, waiting-line times).

Owner was outside and greeting people. He was friendly and helpful with a parking meter issue lol. Food was good, had gulten free toast!! And service was amazing. Would have given 5 stars, yet it was loud to a point where 2 out of 3 of us couldn’t carry on a conversation.

Arrived during a busy breakfast brunch time that the table we were given was dirty. It took asking two wait staff members if we could get a rag to clean the table. I did enjoyed my Lox omelette even though the salmon was on the salty side, which indicates to me they used smoked salmon instead of fresh. The country potatoes appeared overcooked as they looked burnt with a mushy constancy. My boyfriend and I did ask for sourdough bread with our orders, but were given wheat instead. We weren’t given an explanation as to why sourdough bread wasn’t available and staff did rush us when we made our order. Overall it’s a nice place for a quick meal, but not my go-to for a relaxed atmosphere breakfast/ brunch stop. It’s okay.

Fantastic little breakfast spot. The #7 is the best omelette I’ve ever had, simply delicious. Friendly and fast service. Sit outside and chat with Don for extra entertainment! Looking forward to coming back here.

Gem of a breakfast restaurant. We had the best service, including chatting with the owner. Very friendly atmosphere. The food portions are very large and price was great! By far the fluffiest biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had, so yummy! Omelets are generous in portions and the potatoes are on point. Can’t forget about the homemade salsa! Did I say yummy!

Awesome place. I happen to visit this side to attend a wedding and came across this place. Great menu. Of you like omelette or anything related to eggs then this is the place for you. I ordered California Benedicts and it came with their own signature country potato as side. I only have good things about it.

This restaurant is excellent! Me and my friend went hear on a Saturday. The service was awesome. The omelets, potatoes came out HOT! Fresh tasting food. Many different service people came up and took away our old plates and napkins and gave us fresh salt/ pepper and ketchup. The OJ and latte were great. The menus are clean. Tables are clean. Utensils are clean on a nice napkin. And excellent music. I could have hung out with those people all day long. I’ll be going out soon again and taking more family/ friends. I’m from Houston Texas. They are just like the old south kitchen cooking. You will love these people. Tell them old Texas gave a great review and y’all wanted to try out for y’alls self. Good luck angels.
