The place was super cute. We walked in expecting to be wowed. And it was so disappointing. The potato skins were burned when I said something to the waiter he acted like I was lying. When you could clearly see two were fine and the other were way over cooked. The salad was sad and way over priced. The mixed greens were mushy. For $19 that salad should have been huge and delicious. It was such a disappointment. The waiter never brought us refills without asking. We left and got in the car and drank water from our cups. I have never not left a 25% plus tip and I didn’t even leave 10%. So disappointed for $90 bill.

Every food menu I have ordered has been outstanding. Quick service for food and drinks. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable of food and drinks. Lauren is a super bartender. They have daily food specials. Tomorrow Is Cinco de mayo and was told they have margaritas of all kinds on special from open to close for $5.00. Always clean and wonderful atmosphere especially when the weather is nice with the outside patio and fire pit.

The bartender/waitress was awesome. The menu and the food exceeded expectations. My daughter works a few doors down and we just needed something quick to maximize time together for her lunch hour. We will definitely do it again!

Although I have been here many times, I went to an event and was surprised and disappointed by how poor the food and service was. One pregnant guest had called ahead to let the restaurant know of a gluten allergy. She was told there was no problem. The host of the party also verified this but at the event they did not have anything other than salad(no dressing) and cut veggies for her. They could not give her a slider on a bun because someone had forgotten to thaw them? They suggested that she just take a meat patty off of a regular bun which shows that the staff is undertrained in allergies. Finally they brought her a cooked burger no bun on a plate. That’s it. No lettuce- no onion- no tomato- nothing but meat on a plate. Pretty sad.

Had a group reservation at McVee’s, showed up on time and our table was gone. Owner shrugged indifferently and said walk-ins get dibs regardless of reservations!!! No other large table, so we had to break up the group. Will definitely not be back.

We had our holiday party at the restaurant on a Sunday evening and we couldn’t have been happier. The owner and wait staff were very accommodating to our entire staff needs. We had offered appetizers and drinks to our employees and I don’t think one bit of food was left. I highly recommend this restaurant.
