My native Thai dining companion says that it was all fantastic, although the satay was a little dry. Which is a damn fine endorsement. Oddly, wasn’t as spicy as I’d hoped for, but that’s often a local adaptation. Overall, very nice. The mango sweet sticky rice was fantastic. Who am I kidding? I’d drive here again to eat and grab some food to go from the adjoining market. If you like authentic Thai, then it’s the real deal.

I was traveling for work and was recommended this restaurant. It was INCREDIBLE. Some of the best Thai I have EVER had. They have a parking lot in the back so you don’t have to worry about finding parking. The food portions were huge, the ambiance and decor was perfect, service was excellent, and the food was DELICIOUS. Every time I come back to VA for work I’m coming here!

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the DC area. It is attached to a Thai market as well, so before or after your meal if you want to grab some Asian food products, as well as premade Thai dishes to go you can. I had the kra pao gai (basil chicken) minced Thai style with a fried egg on top. The flavors were reminiscent of BKK, and were exactly what my soul was craving. There were actually 4 adults and two kids, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get photos of all the food. However, one of my dining companions ordered a vegetarian Penang curry (pictured) and said it was delicious as well. One of my favorite Thai restaurants and a must try for anyone in the DC area.

I highly recommend this place and trying everything on the menu. The food was some of the best I’ve had in the DMV and I would come back here again and again with friends and family. The cocktails were amazing and I recommend the Thai Boxer and Lychee Martini. They fit the meal so well and we’re a perfect start for the course. The food was even better and I recommend the spicy cashew dish and drunken noodles. Actually, everything was fantastic and the staff was friendly and personable. Please make this a stop during your time in the DMV or add it to your list of regular locals.

First time visiting this restaurant and it was a lovely experience. The staff quickly got us seated and provided us with waters with lemon already added. There were several open spots for parking behind the restaurant which was nice too. Food – it was tasty, light and filling in my opinion. I ordered the Siam from the sea which was the shrimp and asparagus dish. The shrimp were large and already cleaned out too. My boyfriend got the pork dish and he did say his lips started to burn a bit from the spiciness. The starter came out quickly too. Vibe – nice jazz music playing in the bathroom. The bathroom was even decent condition as well. The server was prompt, friendly and professional. No issues at all. Overall I would recommend this place for a Thai meal.

Excellent spot for a decent priced brunch in the area. My coworker and I went for lunch around 2 pm, and there was no wait. We both ordered the lunch special chicken drunken noodles for $9.99 with a side of eggroll for $.99 and he also got shrimp cakes, and I got 2 pieces of uni. The drunken noodles were hot and spicy but delicious, so if you can’t handle heat, it’s not the best for you. The uni was pretty pricey, $22 for 2 pieces, but was fresh. Don’t miss out on the grocery store right next to it. They carry more than just Thai items. They have Japanese and Korean items as well.

We went on a Saturday night and it was busy. Our food came fast once we were able to order. The Steamed Dumplings were great – probably the best thing we ordered. The Drunken Noodles were burnt and not spicy – very little flavor overall. The Pad Thai was good, and the Red Curry was also well-spiced and tasty. The Thai Teas were good too. All in all, it was average.

I went there twice with my husband and we loved the food. We had spring rolls and firecrackers shrimp as appetizers along with the Tom Ka soup. We had drunken noodles and paptong fried rice for lunch and we absolutely loved them. Tasted so authentic that I ordered paptong fried rice again when I went there 2nd time. That time we started with chicken satay and Tom yum soup. I loved the peanut sauce and the cucumber relish they serve with chicken satay. But the Tom yum soup wasn’t upto my taste. I liked the tom ka soup better. My husband had the farmers fried rice. I tried it a little bit and it was so good. The beef was cooked to perfection and the portion(of rice and and beef) was remarkably goood. Nice and cozy ambience. Definitely it’s become my go to place for lunch now.
